CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

As for my tests, they have been relocated and pushed back so that I can go to a better facility when I am home for spring break. The doctors aren't thrilled with early speculations... and that isn't exactly encouraging. Please continue to pray for me, and I'll keep you guys updated.

Thanks to those who prayed. Today is proving to be a difficult one already, but I'm trying to hang in there.
Asking, possibly even begging, for prayer for my friend who is on a mission trip (her name is Lindsay). I just got a letter from her that said her group is in a very dangerous area, and she isn't even able to talk about God publicly. They have to use code words with each other like calling Him their Dad and stuff like that. So I am hoping to get some prayer for safety for her group, and that they will find a way to minister to these people (for security reasons she can't even tell me where she is exactly right now) without being harmed. Thanks y'all
Praying for blessed, peaceful outcomes in Jesus' name.

So..my job, which I love, has seriously stopped giving me hours - so I've been trying to find a second job...my mom and I went shopping today, walk into a store I have never been to before, and overhear the two managers talking about how they haven't even seen anyone worthy of interviewing. So I ask if they are hiring, fill out an app, then she asks if I have a few minutes to talk. Of course I say yes, but apologize for my apparel (it's a seriously winter day, so I'm in a hoodie 
) She told me that I "seem like I would be a good fit" and the other manager said "seems like it was meant to be"...She's going to call me in the next few days and tell me for sure....and it seems like a God thing - but if y'all don't mind saying a prayer for the whole thing, would be good

FNG: A major factor is drainage from the wound. Fluids from the wound drain down and out of the wound, which macerates the tissue at the edges. The skin there dies, deteriorates, and falls off (at the rate of a millimeter per week, apparently). In order to combat that, I have to keep my leg elevated as much as possible to slow the drainage.

prayers please. will be going to a nursing home tonight to sing and preach. the person i usually go with (who is the chief speaker with the gift of evangelism) isn't going to be able to make it. i pray that i will be able to deliver clearly. most of all that someone will come to know the Lord.
also, for my friend Brian. he didn't discuss why he's not coming, but i sense that the Lord may be doing something exciting with him anyway. i look forward to following up with him while also giving an update here on how it went.

Well..I have another request
I just officially made plans to go with my dad to the conference this weekend. If y'all wouldn't mind praying...my dad believes, but he's very...catholic in his beliefs (not meaning to offend, but i don't know how else to put it)...we have great conversations, but if it comes around to salvation by faith alone, or a relationship with Jesus, he gets very uncomfortable.
In the past, I just let it go, thinking "he's my dad, who am I to try to teach him anything?" or I just plain chicken out....
so if you wouldn't mind praying that I would actually the courage and wisdom to say whatever God wants me to say whenever He wants me to say it...
and that my dad would be more open to it than he has been...
I would greatly appreciate it. Sorry that was so long.

Holy Spirit, please continue Your work in Mary by giving her the strength, discernment and courage to stay centered on Your will. Father please also assist this dear sister in restoring any thoughts or beliefs within her family that are not of You and Your glory. In Jesus' name.
