Also, a former coworker was killed in a freak accident today. She leaves behind a college-aged son. However....rumours are circling that her estranged husband had something to do with it. I pray it isn't true. But most of all, I'm praying for the son. He's a really sweet kid. I can't imagine what he's feeling tonight.

small request:

if you have not heard, there are riots in the Xinjiang region of China. these riots have killed civilians and have been going days.

i have a friend who is doing some medical mission work in the country at the moment. she is due to be home within a week, but please pray that she and her group remain safe and return without injury. i know china is a large country.. but i have not heard from her since these riots began.

I had nightmares all night it seemed last night. These are extremely vivid and horrifying in ways that I would prefer not to share. I haven't had them like this in some time. I know this is a sign. And I know I need GODs hand in this matter. I think part of what brought them on was recently being in contact with someone I have not spoken to in about 3 years. I spoke to her on the phone last night before I went to bed. This is a warfare situation and I really need prayer.

please pray for my grandmother, we're not sure what's up with her...

sometimes i worry that it's a certain thing and I feel as though I'm already grieving...she has been afraid.

also, I meet my brother and sister this weekend and get to see my dad again. I've been really tired lately, so I'm barely feeling excited at the moment, but I need strength for tomorrow because I have a lot of responsibilities, and I just need God's joy and strength. He will help me, i know it.

Also, please pray for me in another matter...it is overwhelming sometimes and I am embarrassed of its scope at times. I need support but it's really hard to ask.

Guys,

The last time I asked for prayer, I was angry-hurt and wrote whole pages about the injustices/problems that I was facing. This time, I'm just flat out hurt. I haven't been emotionally or physically drained like this for a long time. Its "heavy." Its by no means a quick fix. And I really need some peace.
