i paid all that money to get it done and they don't know what is wrong still. The doctor said all that it showed is that there is swelling. I'm so frustrated with it. The swelling has gone down, but is still there. I just want to be well again and be able to exercise and run.
Also, last spring my dad had surgery on his legs to help a circulation problem. At his latest check up they found that it's split open and he will have to have the same surgery again. He's an older dad and I'm worried. The first surgery took a lot out of him.

Have they talked about having you do physical therapy to see if that will help?

no, my foot doctor told me that he thinks it will go away in time, that i likely bruised a tendon or ligament and it just takes a long time to heal. I'm going for a physical if i can get an appt. to a doc. of internal med. Thanks for the prayers.

Hey everyone! I feel I’ve been posting a ton of prayer requests lately but I have a few more if you don’t mind. I promise they’re important or I wouldn’t bother posting.

The first is I posted awhile back about my mom’s friends father being sick. Well, we found yesterday that he has passed away. Please keep the family in your prayers.


The second is my mom’s first cousins daughter passed away in a 4-wheeler accident day before yesterday. To make matters worse she was out of state when it happened and the family is going to have to pay a ton of money for the embalmment before she can get back here. They don’t have the money to do this so the dad is going up there to get her. I couldn’t imagine what he is going through right now. She was only 18 years old and he’s already lost his wife to cancer not to long ago. Please keep them in your prayers.

The third is I’m sure you’ve all heard about Jennifer Hudson’s family and the tragedy that took place there in the death of her mom and brother. I think her nephew is still missing. We need to pray for comfort for her and her family and the safe return of her nephew. Thanks.

Ouch! You should at least get a proper dressing from a pharmacy to put on it, and put the sock over that.

Hey Rob,

Definitely get some gauze pads and put those between your heel and your sock. What's probably happening is, your skin is trying to heal, but with the fabric of the sock pressed against it, the sock is healing INTO your skin, so when you pull off the sock, you rip open the skin again.

Is this just from dry skin or is it an injury? If it's just from dry, cracked skin, try the gauze with possibly some medicated ointment on it to prevent infection. Get this stuff at your closest dollar store to save $$.

I have a request again for my dad. My sister emailed me tonight and told me that he has been REALLY sick this past week. He's been coughing really bad to the point where he has thrown up a couple of times and his diabetes has been totally out of whack. My sister and I are REALLY worried about him. Any prayers would be truly appreciated.
