To kick off the thread, I would first like to praise the Lord for all the hours I've gotten at work. The Lord turned a 24-hour work week into 56 hours, which translated to nearly 80 hours for the pay period!
Unfortunately, I am scheduled to work with my manager who has talked about me behind my back this Saturday. Saturday is Lotto day, which means about $2,000+ more in business that day. It will be a non-stop day, and I am not looking forward to working with a woman I have a very hard time getting along with. Please pray that I can learn to love her as Christ does, and please pray that I might be able to avoid conflict with her.
It was my younger sister's graduation yesterday (which is a HUGE deal for her because she has a learning disability) and my dad missed another one of her big days. This is not the first time he has done this to her. She is struggling still with my mom's death and is clinging on hard to any family left. My dad has fallen back into the drugs and my sister is in complete denial of this.
He continues to hurt us over and over again - and she refuses to believe anything we try to tell her. Please pray for the both of them.
I am no longer in touch with my dad - I told him I wanted no part of him until he was ready to make a life overhaul, but I have my sister who is a needy person to begin with, looking for love and attention constantly. She is also a hard person to be around so I don't make myself open to visit with her nearly as often as I should. I'm at a breaking point where I just want to run away and forget it all. I don't want to deal with negativity any longer. I think prayer for my sister will help ME.
thanks

Just dropping in and asking that you all pray for quick healing for my co-worker Faraji, who broke blood vessels in his foot and has to work painfully with an air cast on.
Praying for those things listed.
AND
I will reiterate my need for prayer for my marriage. I usually refrain from posting that word in this forum, but we need prayer. Badly. Thanks.
