CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

pray for some neighbours: a mother and her mildly autistic son. they've been invited to a mentor's bible study, but due to the son's condition she said it would be better if they had bible study in their home.

I want to start an online business but I have been persecuted by a pair of computer programmers who have caused me permanent harm to my life. I fear that if I start an online business they will appear to cause me further harm and sabotage my attempts at being a successful entrepreneur. Please pray that G-d will protect me from these two persons and that whatever internet pursuits I take up (that are Godly of course) will not be threatened by these two malicious persons.

For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Late last week, I heard something about John 6:44 on the radio. The verse says: "For no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them to me..." It came to me as a wonderful piece of encouragement, like God was saying, "Remember, I called you, not vice versa." The way I saw it, if God called me, that means I can do whatever He wants me to do.
I think I know now why He reminded me of that. Things are getting difficult. I could use some prayer.

Need prayers I fell into old habits 4 months ago (have been clean sense just currently going through the courts), and caught another DUI conviction. Just pray that God's will be done. <3 my CF family!
