God's wrath is still there when it comes to sin, but Jesus took all our sins unto him on the cross. Those who reject Jesus will feel his wrath in the next life. There will come a time when Jesus comes back and sets up his reign on Earth at that time those who pit themselves against God will feel his wrath. So, are you basically saying that God, the Father "is" "storing up wrath" and that basically we've all "got it coming" someday, (with maybe the exception of full-on, true believers in Christ, who might be able to be declared "exempt" from it, "escape" it)
I'd say Christ took the beating for the world.
For the "entire" world even those who hate him or would curse his name or deny him completely, even those with an unrepentant heart who feel like they don't have to apollogize or have a repentant heart/attitude for anything, and refuse to even "try" to improve upon themselves or change their behavior? Are you saying that Christ took the punishment for even say radical Muslim terrorists? Or rapists, or child molesters, or sadistic mass murderer serial killers?
What about the example of the attitudes of two theifs that were cruxified along with Jesus, he (Jesus) only told "one" of them that he would be with him in paradise?
Yes, that is what I said: I'd say Christ took the beating for the world.
There's not much left of his Bible. He doesn't believe this..... just throws it out like he throws Paul's word to the wind when they don't agree with him.
So by saying not to covet, He's saying, 'Don't even THINK about stealing."

Custom does not equal command... customs are TRADITIONS and you yourself have said you don't go for traditions. Jesus was sent to the Jews why would he not take advantage of their customs (made by themselves) to try and convince them of things. Do you go to a Jewish synagog on Saturday? NO you don't... so you are not doing as Jesus did.
Absolutely! So by saying not to covet, He's saying, 'Don't even THINK about stealing."
Do you know that there was on temple and many Synagogues?I know well what custom means. Do you realize that those of Israel worshiped in the Temple and not in a synagogue? That is a school for learning not worship.
No! Why should I be deliver from Holiness? Is that not what I am suppose to be by the grace of God?Wonderful! Are you carnal as the inspired author proclaims he is in the present tense? Doesn't this personal contrast to the Holiness of the Law explain why we have been delivered from it, as verse 6 in the immediate context announces?
Yes.
Ellen's 'sabbath test' is a myth.
The Chair is not broken. It is the table that the chair was at that is broken. It a new table in the corner.Adventism demands leaving out the qualification that excludes the Mosaic covenant from God's "My law" He has placed into our hearts. It also leaves out the conclusion the inspired author of Hebrews 8:13 makes when he wrote In that He says, A new covenant, He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away. Moving a broken covenant to another location doesn't make it 'new', any more than moving a broken chair from one corner to another effects repairs on the broken chair. The old chair is obsolete, ready to be disposed of.
God have no need for the water or the wind part, except for keeping the hurricanes from these shores. But He has done the demon rebuke part for me a few years ago. If needed the water walking will happen.Jesus walked on water and spoke to the wind and it obeyed Him. Can or do you either of those things? Who is it you speak to and they are healed or delivered from demons? Best get to cracking.
Jesus was sent to the world and for the world. He was our example and set the example for us, including the Sabbath. Jesus did not do things simply because He was a Jew our was living with them.Custom does not equal command... customs are TRADITIONS and you yourself have said you don't go for traditions. Jesus was sent to the Jews why would he not take advantage of their customs (made by themselves) to try and convince them of things. Do you go to a Jewish synagog on Saturday? :oThat is why you see Paul talking about how the Law INCREASED sin, as by telling someone what sin was it tempted people to do it. We can see that telling a child not to do something makes it more likely they will do it. I think God knew this all along and knew the only way to combat that type of thinking is to make punishment for breaking the Law very harsh... death.
:o
What is this? Telling that I should not steal makes me want to steal? Telling to worship God only makes we want to worship idols?
Anything works in order to down play and negates God Hold law.
