what has God called you to do in your life?

I have been called to ministry and will attend the University of the Nations in 2005

That's awesome, girlforchrist, that you plan on being involved in ministry! Are you already called to a specific ministry? I am called into missions, i am seeking God's will and guidence for the specifics. i know i want to help people and i have a heart for the children that can't help themselves. i will pray that you continue to follow Gods will! I think God might be leading me to something like being a pastor. Maybe something like staff work for Intervarsity. I dunno, I'm only 19... I've got at least 4 more semesters of school before I have to actually figure out what God's got planned.

It's pretty easy. The last couple of verses of Matthew 28 tells us that we as Christians are to preach, teach, and make disciples.

Matthew 24:14 also tells us that are commision is to preach the good news of the kingdom.

These are not optional nor are they hobbies. They are commands.

Well, God calls us to do a lot of things...but as for career, I believe God has called me to be a writer. (We'll see about that one - I'm not published yet!!! )

I'm a Communications major (Human Communications to be exact... hehehe). I used to think I'd be in Music Ministry or something along those lines, but God put a passion on my heart when I began to seek Him and the desires of His heart. I hope to break into the magazine editing field and maybe have my own magazine company one day. *takes out soapbox* With the shape that this society has become... I want to bring something to this day and age and prove that God is still the same God yesterday, today, and tomorrow. With all the garbage in today's generation's reading material (especially girls) I, for one do NOT want my daughters reading that junk. They're 12 or 13 and already having to know "How to get this far with your boyfriend" and it disgusts me. Not that I have never struggled with these issues, but with experience, hopefully comes wisdom. I'm not trying to shelter them from this world because God knows thats almost close to impossible and also unhealthy (cause then they can't minister to those who DO struggle with it) but I want to at least show them what a true woman (or whoa-man) of virtue is like. God's calling me to spread his word via the silver screen. I've been blessed with quite a talent for filmmaking, and Intend to create stories and characters with strong Christian values. I feel like I can reach the world through my movies and doing so to spread the word of God most certainly is a good thing.

I always thought that my "calling" was to be a school teacher, until I went back to University this year, and God has made it VERY clear to me tjhat I am called to ministry. And I cant escape it.

ANd the area of ministry I am being called to is Missions ministry. Yup thats right... thats the calling I feel on my life. Cool huh? It is to me.

So I am trying to take the appropriate steps to fulfill that calling. I decided that I am returning from University after Christmas... and I havge a feeling God has something for me.... we'll see tho

I really don't know exactly what God has in store for me. I've been in college for two years now majoring in Biology. I don't know what God is going to have me doing with that degree yet.

I to have been called to the minstery. I fell that God will have me working with teen girls. I belive he wants me to show them their selfworth in him and themselves so that they do not feel they need to be compleated in a guy. It will kinda be a true love waits minstery. I am praying I will get to attend the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor in the fall of 2004!

well this summer really gave me direction, I saw an evangelist called christine caien speak and i saw what iwas called to do - to preach the Gospel and equip the church to evangelise but im still a young christian - so i want to spend a couple of years in mission and then go to hillsong leadership college.

I also have a desire to see a church planted in the town im from because most of the churches there are dead and a church is generally helpful in reaching lost people.

I think that God has called me to interpret and perceive. It sounds kind of strange to say that but when I lay in my bed at night things just start to pop into my head so fast that I know it isn't me. My dreams, If I can remember them, are sort of watching another dream. I perception helps me to see peoples gifts so easily. I have helped my youth pastors to find out how they can make youth group better by putting certain people in certain places. The problem is that I don't really know what my gifts are. I mean these can be some possibilities but I am not as sure as I am with others.

I'm not sure of what the lord has called me to do but, I do think I am being pushed in the direction of missions work. Thats my passion and, I believe thats where God can use me to the fullest.

Well, the two biggest ways God has called me recently:
1) In the end of March, He called me one evening to leave that school, my ministry there, my friends, and my family (I went to a college 3 hours away from home), and go to a school 2500 miles away, not knowing what to expect or anything. So here I am, studying theology and philosophy at a private Catholic college (as opposed to the 4 year public university I was at, just beginning to get into my major of psychology).

2) The call to the ministerial priesthood of the Catholic Church. (recently in this case means 4 or so years)

So far, God has called me to serve Him through Music and working with youth. He has also guided me towards the computer industry, and one of my goals is to either work for or own a company that makes computers for low income families. I've always had a thing for computers, and now I am trying to put my knowledge to use for God.
