Oh and by the way, a church I attended years ago was praying for the woman's unborn child. They advised her to abort but she refused. Kind of a Baptist group that was boarder line Charismatic, most of them related to my wife. When the baby came, I found out later, the attending doctor was out of town and his replacement was a lady expecting the worst. The way I get the story she had web toes and a cleft pallate. They say the doctor did a little dance and said, she's perfect! My daughter attended this church well into her twenties, I happened to attend one Sunday and there was the girl I had heard about, a full grown woman. It was pretty awe inspiring.

I dont believe they are.....but they can be to those who believe.
If you believe in Gnomes, yes that can be a problem, but it's still not Satanic. It might be time to get back on your meds but hardly something I would consider demonically inspired.

It's ok if you believe in gnomes, it's not Satanic I'm sure, but watch out for those hobgoblins because that can get bad.

Is there a website in particular that talks about it? I'm reading stories from several different sites and it's kinda creeping me out. I'll never look at a gnome in a cute way again! And what about the Elf on the Shelf? Same deal?
Im not sure about elf on the shelf or anything, i dont have any of that kind of stuff. I know my brother and his family does. I will try here shortly to find the things on gnomes I came across and share it. It is creepy isnt it? NO LONGER innocent, thats how spooked I was that morning when I went researching it and wondering why in the world God would want me to remove it.

I think the evil spirits prefer pigs.....not gnomes.

too much knowledge is not always wise. We'd all be still walking around naked and un-ashamed had it not been for the knowledge of good and evil.

Coming from Sweden were gnomes (vättar in Swedish) are well-known in our folk lore as evil spirits that cause trouble on farms (killing cows or giving them diseases etc) unless you obey them, I would agree that keeping garden gnomes is probably a bad idea.
So thumbs up for smashing them.
