WOWEE! That is an awesomest post and it makes ALOT of sense! Especially concerning unclean spirits! Thanks for the reminder of the unclean cast into the swines! One of my favourite stories because it has such a great outcome!
Come to think of it, my autistic son won't really use our back door. He has always ever preferred the front, even after being encouraged to use the back! He uses it only when we are all out back together as a family. Surprisingly, I did see him back there this morning with the cat when he got up before I did... so that was a pleasant surprise! Other than that, he has no issue with any of the rooms or even our crawl space basement. I've also taken pictures of our house since hearing that spirits can sometimes be picked up with digital technology. Nada. Not even orbs! Unless you stir up the dust down in the basement.
We had an older cat before our current one and late at night he would often settle on the couch and stare at the staircase leading upstairs. I asked him what he was looking at, he was so intent on staring and his eyes were moving as if watching someone on the steps. I have seen black-coloured floaties/shadows going through our walls on a few occasions. The kids have seen them, too. Nothing recently.
Ironic too, that before I'd rearranged our room, I'd just finished repainting it so it literally felt like a "fresh" room. "House clean and swept in order" for sure! Take that, spirit!
As for doing something right, I do credit my hubby. I often tease him he has enough faith for the both of us! Not much ruffles his feathers and he always reminds us all that only God is in complete control. I know we have people praying for us from church, too. Sometimes they come up to us and tell us they've been praying for us because we have our special needs son. Most cannot believe how calm he is without medications. His communication is limited and even as a baby it seemed he would stare at me with his big brown eyes as if he knew something that I didn't but he couldn't tell me. And I mean a deep stare. Still the same even now! lol But he
can read and it's almost like a "different" voice we hear when we have him read his "The Story Bible" book. He seems to read with an exuberant voice like, "oh yeah! this happened!" He gets right into it. Much different than reading any other type of book.
Thanks for your post!

It's been a long while since I've told anyone about this and then looking at me like, "girl, you're cray cray!" (Except for my mom. She knows what I'm talking about.) I do believe these spiritual warfares are existent and yes, it is our job to maintain the battle! God's got an army, not afraid to fight!
