I believe that the Church age began on the day of Pentacost in 29 ad.
So, what age do you believe the Disciples were asking Jesus about the "end of" here:
Matthew 24:3
3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what
will be the sign of Your coming, and of the
end of the age?”
By your calculation, they could not have been asking about the end of the Church age, as not only had it not yet begun at the time they asked the question, they had absolutely NO IDEA it even WAS coming!
How could the disciples ask about an end of an age they had no idea was even coming?
So the end of 2,000 years will be in 2029. This will be the end of the Church age and the beginning of the Kingdom age.
Scripture says the Church lasts through ALL ages, world without end, Amen. (Ephesians 3:21)
You disagree?
Scripture teaches that the earth and material cosmos will exist forever (Ecc 1:4; Ps 78:69; 89:36-37; 104:5; 148:4-6; Eph 3:21) and that human generations are perpetual (Ps 145:13; Dan 4:3,34; Dan 7:14,18,27; Lk 1:33)
We are in the EVERLASTING gospel age.
There is no use by or expiration date for the EVERLASTING gospel, whose sole purpose is to call sinners to salvation.
