What games should Christians not play?

But something like the Sims can be fine, there is a lot of variety.

Its a game, as in "not real". All you are doing is moving pixels around.

I agree with you on that one especialy since with graphics what they are today you could end up with pretty much a porno with you controling it.

What about a game like Playboy: The Mansion? Yes, there's nudity, but the whole point of the game is managing an enterprise.

Someone who doesn't believe in Ares might say, "Dude, it's just a game, it's not real." Nothing, really. I was using GoW as an example with Steezie because he has said he won't play it for religious reasons. I was trying to use that to demonstrate why many Christians won't play games with sexual content.

But, you do raise a very valid point. Gratuitous violence in games is no different than gratuitous sex in games.

But this whole "discussion" is getting too bent out of shape for me. Play what you want and don't worry what other people think. Don't judge other people for playing things you won't play. Don't judge people for not playing things you enjoy playing. And whatever you do, don't pretend to speak for the faith.

A personal decision. I do not agree with the Catholic church on all doctrinal issues.
