I could say that this is a clear example of the "post hoc ergo propter hoc" fallacy. I could ask whether the validity of a scientific theory is determined by how good it is for society. Or I could go straight for the mockery. Hmm... decisions, decisions...

NUMBER OF MASSIVE BONG HITS FRED WILLIAMS HAS TAKEN DURING THE PAST WORK WEEK

You'll note his Mary Jane consumption sharply decreases as we reach Wednesday, only to rebound dramatically as the weekend approaches.

I rep'ed the OP for his great parody, but my points aren't showing up..

it was a parody, right?!
Nope, it wasn't. DGE Project is a real, genuine YEC with a fetish for a guy named Fred Williams. Fred Williams has a site that you can find here.

Hm...evidently, all biologists are amoral atheists since we've been using evolution as the foundation of modern biology for the last hundred years or so. May also want to show this to the western European countries so they know how horribly violent their society is as compared to ours since we have our religion to combat the evils of evolution and most of them are already evolutionist, baby eating atheists. :p

Seriously, you should have learned this in high school:

correlation does not mean causation
if you made these types of assumptions in my genetics class, you would so fail the exams.

This thread got me wondering, what happens if something like this did get posted in the quiet thread. Are there measures to take it down? Would it seem like the evolutionists are silencing the Creationists? Or do we leave it up in the view of fairness that liberals should have?

Why do you assume that anyone that thinks this is bunk is a liberal?

No, I'm just using liberal like that other thread, Liberal Hypocrisy Against Teaching Creationism in Public Schools. The OP implied that the liberal community should allow all views, including junk like Creationism, in schools if they were truly liberal.
I'm not sure what passes for liberalism these days, as those who identify on either side appear to be extremists to me, but since when was liberalism defined as "allowing all views?" That is absurd on its face because we would have liberalism espousing conservative views, which is a contradiction.
