I'm a Christian. No "false religion" here. As such, my hope is found in Him and Him alone. He lived a perfect life on my behalf, and He died a sinner's death on my behalf. By faith, both of those realities are mine, and anyone else who desires them may freely partake; however, not many do because they have no need.

How many times over did you read Galatians 2:20 like I asked? Because you still don't get it!

Here's an example of your "false religion" - false because your belief or quote doesn't come from God, nor his word :

He lived a perfect life on my behalf, and He died a sinner's death on my behalf.

Here's an example of true religion :
1 Corinthians 15:
[58] Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that YOUR LABOUR is not in vain in the Lord.

2 Corinthians 4:
[10] Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in OUR body.

It means forgiven for all sins
or found not-guilty at judgment time.

That your salvation be truly of God, and not founded on man-made theories or concepts based on false religion. Beware when people write things that are not from scripture, the truth, or the word.
Ex. "I think..." "IMHO..." etc... People make up a lot of stuff that becomes vain philosophy and bad religion, with no biblical foundation that will lead you astray from God.

Sanctify :
verb
set apart as or declare holy; consecrate
• (often be sanctified) make legitimate or binding by religious sanction
• free from sin; purify.
• (often be sanctified) being right or good; legitimize

JESUS said as He prayed to He Father for us,
John 17 :
[17] Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
[19] And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

Ephesians 5:
[26] That he might sanctify and cleanse it (the church) with the washing of water by the word,

1 Thessalonians 5:
[23] And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Do you sanctify something, (consecrate, dedicate, or set apart something for holy use) do you do it with or by prayer, by laying down at God's feet and submitting it, and saying some words over it in prayer, For/and it is still God and not us that must be required to sanctify a thing...

God Bless!

When the Apostle Paul confronted the Galatians about their fall from grace - their abandoning of the gospel to a system of justification by works, he asked a very interesting question: "Where is your joy?" Where has it gone? What has happened to it?

The answer to that diagnostic question told the whole story.

Every post you've made to me has been angry, impatient, and quite frankly, unloving and rude. May I ask you, as Paul did the Galatians, where is your joy? What does that tell you about the fruit of your theology?

Here's a verse I was reading this morning, and I thought of you :
1 Corinthians 1:
[2] Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

Some more verses to help with your question :
1 Peter 2:
[9] But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

2 Corinthians 6:
[17] Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

Romans 12;
[1] I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
[2] And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and PERFECT, will of God.

And the word PERFECT appears in that last verse, so we're still on topic!

You haven't answered any of my questions that I have asked you... I'm patiently waiting!

So, what happens with no obedience on your part?
Hebrews 13:
[17] Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

Remember;
Hebrews 12:
[11] Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

Philippians 2:
[2] Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

So, where is my joy?
In the Holy Ghost. Not in the fruit of theology; another non-biblical man-made term on your part!
Romans 14:
[17] For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Hebrews 4:
[12] For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Did the Galatians at the time the letter was written to them
already "fall from grace" ?
or was it a letter seriously and fervently warning them not to listen to those who were pulling and pushing and doing all they could to trick them into departing from the Gospel of Jesus once delivered ? (like already today most people of the world have been tricked)

Peace,

Well, think about the word "perfect" all by itself.
Can a believer be perfect and yet be in sin?
Can a believer be perfect and yet even stumble into sin?
To me, that would kind of go against what the word "perfect' actually means if "perfect" could be defined as abiding in sin or stumbling into sin on occasion. If the word "perfect" was not really the word that was supposed to be used in our English Bibles then that means God failed to preserve His Word for our world language today (And that is not possible). For God does not make mistakes; And He says in His Word that He would preserve His Word for all generations.

Again, Jesus compares the word "perfect" with the Father so that nobody can change the meaning of it. The obvious meaning is that we can be perfect like the Father is perfect. In what way is the Father perfect in a way that we can be perfect like Him? In behavior only of course. We can live holy like the Father because God can live inside us and change us and do the good work thru our hearts and lives.

Also, you have to stop and think.

God is good, right?

Why would God allow His people to think they can do evil with the thinking they are saved?
Would not God have to agree with such wrong thinking in order for it to be true?
But can God agree with sinful thinking? Surely not.
God always wants us to do what is right and good.
So perfection is the goal for our lives.
Why? Because God is perfect and He wants a people that is like Him to be friends with.
Jesus said, "you are my friends if you do what I command."

For we are all going to have to stand before God one day and try to explain why we either followed what His Word says or if we disobeyed it. I would say it is very dangerous to change the meaning of God's Word that is plainly written. Context and cross references should help to define the meaning of a word and not a pre-conceived belief (with pointing to a language we really do not know). For just because we do not like what something says in God's Word does not mean it is untrue. We have to remember, the Word of God should change us, and it should not be the other way around.

Let's consider what Paul wrote to the Galatians :

Galatians 1:6
I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

Galatians 3:1
O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?

Galatians 5:7
Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?

Galalatians 5:4
Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

The ye (whosoever) justified themselves by the law - Paul warned - are fallen from grace - so, not all the Galatians!

I love the way Paul ended his epistle :

Galatians 6:18
BRETHREN, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

So, definite warnings and exhortations, but based on the past tense use of removed, bewitched, run, and fallen, some Galatians had fallen, but perhaps not all of them.

So let us pay close attention to what Paul wrote (so we won't be tricked) that we may - Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Some of this looks different in the Greek , to me, and to others.
Not contradictory to what you have said,
at least not necessarily,
but a fuller richer and apparently mostly before the Galatians had fallen , severe warnings with harmony with all the revelation of God's Grace and Purpose to help and to save those who were actively being tempted/ almost they were being coerced/ dragged off/ from the truth
by infiltrators who were not part of the body of Christ.

I never realized this (and have not really digested it all)
until I read a few times the PDF by WUEST, a faithful tested and proven (life and words and teachings) member of Christ,
in the Galatians, Expanded Greek by Wuest study (free online).

It is very rich and a little awkward, but easier to read than
The New Testament An Expanded Translation by WUEST
because it has more explanation of the greek tenses, verbs, etc
in plain everyday use english. (even the order of the words is awkward sometimes, unless reading it hand in hand with
simple explanation) ....
