The prophecy in Daniel 7:25 states that the little horn power will think to change the times and laws. Some believe that this refers to the papacy changing and combining Ten Commandments and changing the Sabbath day from Saturday to Sunday which they take credit for.

Right, those fantasy prophecies get a bit ridiculous. They take the obvious symbolism out of the prophecy and try to make it literal.

I don't think Daniel intended anything, it was what Daniel was told by the angel (presumed).

I don't think it has any thing to do with the papacy. I don't know for certain. It may have to do with the when the feasts are observed.

To become the Antichrist, the person has to be anointed the King of israel and confirm the Mt. Sinai covenant for the 7 years as Moses required in Deuteronomy 31:9-13. Which the speech is to be given on the feast of Tabernacles on the schmita cycle. He may move the time of feast of tabernacles.

There's not one verse in the bible that points to Rome or the Pope. You're all listening to the wrong people.

What this refers to is Islamic prayer times which is currently 5 times a day, and the direction they face while bowing. Instead of bowing toward Mecca, they will bow toward the Dome in East Jerusalem.

I think the first time Islam shows up in prophecy is in Revelation, as the false prophet.

That's right. Muslims chage their times and direction of worship, and Christians are forced to follow. This is all limited to the empire of the beast and NOT worldwide.

Christians don't follow the muslim laws anyway. Christian don't bow to mecca, or the dome of the rock, or any direction.

So what difference does it make to Christians if the person changes what the muslims do ?

Christians aren't bound by ritual. The Jews on the other hand are. It would be meaningful, if the person changed the ritual times of the Jews.

I am not an SDA but I agree with them in this case. I think the papal system is the antichrist system and the office of the pope is the office of antichrist.

That prophecy is referring to the papacy. I believe the papacy created Islam.
