Well I have a son named Aiden that I chose half from Rich Mullins’ song “Let Mercy Lead” and half from the meaning “little and fiery”.

For future kid names I love Desmond or Randall for boys (both based on TV characters I really liked) and Winter or Nell for girls. Ultimately though I think my imaginary future husband and I would find something we both loved and something that suited that baby. Aiden was mooning me in the sonogram from the beginning so he had to be the little fiery one. Imaginary future baby’s personality would shine too.

I want a daughter named Elise, and another named Zoe. My husband can decide on the boy's names.

Well, I would need to find a husband first, for one.
Who he is could bring different events and inspirations for names into our lives... and then, we would need to agree!

Waiting for the day seems special in its own way.

My parents did not come up with many alternatives, or so they told me: if she is a girl, Michelle - or a boy, Michael :)

I thought this would be a fun discussion. Do you have names already picked out you thought would be nice or will you wait for that day?
If I had a daughter, I would want to name her Hadassah. It means "myrtle tree," which is an evergreen shrub, symbolic for life and perseverance. However, I like it primarily because of how it sounds and its connection to Esther. But if I had a son, Arthur would be a great name.

I'll want my first son to be named x, x, x, III. Because I'm a junior and want to pass down my name. Outside of that I want to name my kids after various names in the Bible that are good names not the dumpster fire names.

I've always wanted to give my kids traditional Irish names, like: Caoimhe, Saoirse, Niamh, Fiadh, Cillian, Tadhg

Unless m'lady is Irish and likes those names, I've always known that probably won't happen :D

One name I want to name a daughter is Elizabeth, after Queen Elizabeth 1.

Biblical names are great as well.

I like OT prophet names like Isaiah, Jeremiah, & Elijah. You can feel the power in those names. It'd probably be a bit silly naming a kid those, tho.
Girls names, I like feminine ones that end in the letter a. If it's a girls name & ends in a, I probably like it.

Never had given it a thought. Biologically I will no longer be able to have one but it doesn't mean that the Lord might not open the opportunity down the road either through adoption or someone else's child by marriage. I always had a lot of different names for cats when I was growing up, I'm sure that if I was to pick someone something it would have a little bit of research and unique meaning. Of course there would be a lot of prayer and confirmation from the Lord.

A lot of people think traditional Christian names are on the way out.

Biblical names will always be around. Many were adopted by other cultures. Popularity lists are published yearly and you can track their use.

While we’re usually influenced by aesthetics or familial ties. There’s spiritual components to naming and they weren’t given haphazardly. The name usually reflected an attribute you wanted them to have or possessed at birth, something the Father revealed about the child, or bore witness to God’s love or their experience with Him.

I named my daughter with that in mind and she embodies them. I would never choose one because its cute. The bible demonstrates their significance.

I decided I like Joy & Faith for girl’s names, even tho they don’t have that feminine a ending I like.

I like Bible-themed names, what can I say.

Middle names you’re supposed to name after family members.

I’m 35 in a few months so the chances of meeting someone around my age, courting, marriage, getting pregnant and a healthy pregnancy are pretty much zero.

However I would have liked Olivia for a girl and Thomas for a boy.

Nope, God don’t do chances.

You could always adopt too. :)

Thomas is very Biblical.

Olivia has the a ending, & is top 5 if not top 1 most popular girl baby name.

Why do you like them?
