I'm not married but I wondered how married couples cope with that first burp or that first POP of wind? how embarrasing.

It wasn't too long after being married, only a couple of days or so. It was one of those ones that you try to slip out all slow like. I think of those as the ol' leaky tire. I mean, you gotta get it out but heavens forbid anyone should hear it.
Anyway I was thinking "ol' leaky" but what happened was "thunderclap". I must've turned three shades of red. My wife looked at me and said, "Well, I guess the honeymoon's over."
