I'm an avid reader (don't have cable so I don't watch tv) and was wondering what you folk like to read. I'm sure the Bible is top on your list but what else is on your bedside table?

I'm currently reading a fiction by Mark Andrew Olsen entitled The Assignment. It's an excellent book of suspense.

I'm also reading Captivating by John and Stasi Eldredge. Ladies, if you haven't read this, this is a good one for you. It's subtitled...Unveiling the Mystery of a Woman's Soul. I've gotten John Eldredges Wild at Heart which is more directed to the men because I thought that I needed to see into a man's soul too. I haven't started it yet.

So whatcha reading?

I'm reading Captivating and Five Love Languages right now. I also bought Wild at Heart at the same time for the same reason as you! I'd like my husband to read all of them as well. Sometimes that's how we spend date night, since we haven't had a lot of free time otherwise.

I also like to read suspense/mystery type books as well as Amish stories (Beverly Lewis). I love their dedication to God and family.

 I can't figure that out. My arms used to be long enough to be able to read that small print ^_^

Oh my gosh! This year has been the worst!! I used to be able to make it without my glasses, like you said. I honestly have to have things read to me, or held across the table (REAL embarrassing in a restaurant) if I forget my glasses!

I've read some of Beverly Lewis' books too. My Mom even did and she usually limits her reading to the Bible.

It's horrible, especially when you are trying to read ingredients of something in a store. I've had my daughters read them to me. I really need to break down and visit my eye doctor.
