CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well, I am boring, I guess.
I like health info., stuff on the latest natural products, and remedies, nutrition, and exercise.
I also like self-help, Christian especially, but stuff like Zig Ziglar, and Dr. Phil is fun, too, and keeps me positive.
I enjoy real-life stories, any biographies or autobiographies. People interest me.
I do not like stories that are not true; I don't have time enough to read what I would like to.

of a boy who went from a Detroit ghetto to becoming the Chief Neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. And he gives all the credit of his success to Christ.

I am reading two teaching books...one by James Goll..."The Seer" about how to use reveletory gifts..."Captivating" BY Staci Eldrege...a fiction one in the Love Inspired suspense..can't think of the name. It is pretty good.

At the moment I am reading the second book of Nora Roberts Night Tales series. They are romantic suspenses, also reading The Sapphire Rose, by David Eddings.

Mysteries are my favorites, I guess. But I also read a wide variety of other books. Some of my favorite author's are: Dorothy Cannell, Sharyn McCrumb, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle of course.

We're a pretty nice bunch - and the fab 40's is often a welcome relief from the stresses of some of the other forums (i.e. general theology, apologetics and/or soteriology - more arguments there).
