What do you like to read?

I picked up a David Eddings novel. He writes Fantasy novels. Anyway, I heard through the grapevine that his books are wonderful, so after I finally finish High Five, I will start that one. Actually, it looks very interesting.

I am reading David Edding books myself. I have read The elder God and currently reading Pawn of Prophecy. I am also reading God is Red by Vine Deloria Jr. and Harry Porter series.

Cool! Okay, well I think I am reading them out of order. Since I am starting in on book one of the Ellenium. It is fantastic so far. I am really enjoying it. Well, this is my first time reading this kind of book. Came on a recommendation from a friend of mine.

I haven't found anything trashy in this one yet, its not a romance novel. There have been references to the harlots in town, but not anything graphic. No sex so far. Just interesting reading.

I used to read Stephan King. Not that I'm comparing David & Leigh Eddings to Stephan King, maybe it was seeing the name Joan the Ripper and the phrase serial killer that reminded me sorry.
But I just can't anymore. He no longer holds my interest.

I don't usually read anything that isn't Christian. And there are some good 'suspense' shall we say in the Christian market...for instance..When the Day of Evil comes..that was a GOOD book...scared me...not in a bad way..it is spiritual warfare kind of stuff. LOVE It...so there is that genre in the Christan market.

No, don't like Steven King..he scares me..in a bad way. Um..there is another suspense author..Kathryn Mackrel...she has 2 books that were very good too...The Surrogate...and...The Departed..very good. Frank Peretti is the Christian "Stephen King"..
