What do you like to read?

There are a lot of things I like to read. Mostly psychological thrillers, some horror. A little fantasy. and alot of self-help success books. Last year, I put all that aside to read a series of Commentaries on the New Testament books. This year I am reading a series of Commentaries on the Old Testament books. This reading has really been wonderful.

Do either of you like Patricia Cornwell? The Kay Scarpetta books.

I love her books. I especially like a lot of the forensic detail she adds.

I will have to ask her. I return them ASAP to her. They are christian romance novels. I love the series "A Rose Remembered" Michael Phillips. It was set in the beginning of the cold war. It is really cool.

I found the Lonestar Legacy Series to be a good read too. There are 3 books by Gilbert Morris.

I love historical novels and thriller fiction such as Frank Peretti and Ted Dekker, and anything uplifting that teaches me more of the Bible and Jesus.

Theology and history/biography, mostly. However, I've gone through periods in my life where I've preferred sci fi/fantasy, westerns, techno-thrillers, mysteries...

I picked up a David Eddings novel. He writes Fantasy novels. Anyway, I heard through the grapevine that his books are wonderful, so after I finally finish High Five, I will start that one. Actually, it looks very interesting.

At the moment I'm reading 'Safe People' by Cloud and Townsend, 'Moby Dick' by Melville and just finished 'Blink' by Dekker

I went to a seminar and saw Mr. Townsend...shoot, can't think of his first name. He was awesome.
