Well you know, I read the bible, and in a way that is an autobiography if you think about it. I am not really into non-fiction, since I have REALITY ISSUES. Now give me the fiction and we're talking a whole new ball of wax with that.

I am beginning to become more into reading also. I have books stacking up allover the place and I constantly go to the library. My daughter keeps me away from any book racks in the stores and I am online reading all the time. Plus I write. No wonder I love that alternate universe.

I am reading 'The Da Vinci Code' which I have to say is very interesting. Has anyone else read this?

I've read The DaVinci Code and found it very intruiging. I'm still reading the Alan Alda autobiography...it's being a slow go for me...I've been so busy with other stuff that I haven't had time to read much

I also started a new book. Sarah by Marek Halter. It's a historical novel about Sarah's life. So far...eh...I'm not giving it rave revues just yet.

Being a Southerner I am found of Southern writers, right now it's Rick Bragg.
(Ava's Man was excellent).

Finished DaVinci Code a week or so ago. Read Northern Lights by Nora Roberts, Midnight in Death by J.D. Robb, and am currently on my third Stephanie Plum novel, by Evanovich Three to get Deadly, and I read Claiming the Highlander today by Kinley MacGregor absolutely fantastic. All the books so far that I have read are great. I love slipping into an alternate reality.

Yesterday I bought Tad Williams new book "Shadowmarch" I love everything that man has written. Now, all I need to do is finish the 3 books I have on the go right now before I turn my full attention to it!!

I'm reading Predator by Patricia Cornwell now...among others. I love her writing genre.

I'm an avid reader (don't have cable so I don't watch tv) and was wondering what you folk like to read. I'm sure the Bible is top on your list but what else is on your bedside table?

I'm currently reading a fiction by Mark Andrew Olsen entitled The Assignment. It's an excellent book of suspense.

I'm also reading Captivating by John and Stasi Eldredge. Ladies, if you haven't read this, this is a good one for you. It's subtitled...Unveiling the Mystery of a Woman's Soul. I've gotten John Eldredges Wild at Heart which is more directed to the men because I thought that I needed to see into a man's soul too. I haven't started it yet.

So whatcha reading?

I like to read several books at the same time, currently I'm reading Tony Hillerman (suspense), Eddings (fantasy) and God is Red (history) and Harry Potter. I like to mix my interest.

I am an avid reader as well. In fact, my husband has compared me to taking a drunk into a bar and telling him not to drink is how I am in a bookstore. "Go, look, but don't buy'! YEAH right! I LOVE to read. Mostly Christian fiction. Dee Henderson, Francine Rivers, Ted Dekker, Randy Alcorn. Currently, I started Dee Henderson's new one...Witness. SO far it is good..

Hey Yolih ... I thought you finished that Eddings book. Have you started another one? Which one are you reading now?

I'm currently reading Terry Pratchett's "Going Postal" ... I love Terry Pratchett, and think he's hysterical. I also just finished "Memoirs of a Geisha". It's a fantastic look into the Japanese culture. I'm very grateful I wasn't born Japanese.

I love romance novels, Dick Francis, I have read all but the last Left Behind book. I devour Readers Digest condensed books. I get lost in my reading. I skip over the naughty parts in some romance novels.

Nora Roberts, JD Robb, Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter's, Karen Monings Highlander series books. A friend of mine recommended Eddings books to, haven't gotten to them yet.

Am currently reading: Four to Score by Evanovich.

I think I OD'd on romance novels in my youth. I can hardly get past the first chapter nowadays. Now the only time I can stomach romance is if it's mingled in with a different genre ... which happens a lot. I just don't care for it when it's the central part of the story.
