The entire talk was about their giving of their money.

(and you left out the part of v 8 that tells us he's talking about grace, not material wealth),

Maybe. It doesn't appear to be, or else I would poor (which is not to say that I might not become poor at some point). But the Bible never says God will not allow or even call some people to be poor.

No.
Show me the "perfect" pastor and I'll gladly sit under that one.
Until that day, we have men and women who are prone to error.
But theyre preaching Christ and Him crucified.
All of them have details they should leave unsaid because they
don't fully understand.. imo

I'm familiar with her enough to know that's not "all" she talks about.
Not even the bulk of what she talks about.
But what if it were?
I have heard teachers who's ministry is mainly grace,
I've heard other's who's is endtimes.
I have some sort of special faith for barren women.
(DOn't ask me, it's strange but if you want a baby,
let me pray for you lol)

I haven't read the entire Bible recently so I don't know that it doesnt and

Didn't we have a thread on God's individual will for your life recently? God's will is revealed explicitly in scripture, and in all else he gives us freedom with accountability. It is for freedom he has made us free.

It's beyond silly, it is heretical.
I think people misunderstand what Mac taught on the blood...Just saying.
There are variations in ORTHODOX teaching Sun...But when one teaches a denial of Christ divinity as she does, she becomes a false teacher, it's more than just the tensions of some difficult to understand interpretive challenges within scripture where sides can agree to disagree, it's twisting scripture for ones own gain. All teachers are prone to some errors our job is to be of noble character and hold what they teach to the "word of God"...

MacArthur claims his salvation "and yours depends on a true understanding of Christ," and a "false christ is a damning deception." MacArthur still teaches a false christ to this day (e.g. see MacWars). Yet, for years MacArthur taught what he now admits was not "a true understanding of Christ" (see below), but he believes this false christ that he taught was not "rank heresy." MacArthur lies against both himself and God's Word.
This report was originally written in 1995. MacArthur has since (1999) changed this teaching about Christ (Reexamining the Eternal Sonship of Christ). In his recantation (hard copy on file), MacArthur speaks of Augustine (a Catholic) as if he was a man of God, and MacArthur says that his error is not "rank heresy." Yet, as already noted, elsewhere he says, a "false christ is a damning deception" (bold added). Evidently, according to MacArthur, "rank heresy" and "damning deception" are not the same.

My views on Meyers are from words that come straight out of her mouth and are consistent with the word/faith movement and can be held up to the light of scripture..

Now what? 1st consider the source of information 2nd KNOW that scripture reveals absolute truths. Leaving us only bits that are un-scrutable, doctrinally speaking. (there are areas we can agree to disagree, Christ divinity? NOT one!)
When preachers teach outside of fundamental tenants of the; biblical,historical, orthodox christian faith they must be called to repentance or turned away...Meyer and Fish both have been confronted about their false teachings and have chose to ignore the biblical correction.

Then that means you've been busy,
and imo, busy is a good thing lol.

So 'for you" Joyce is out and mac is in, even though they're both
supposedly "exposed" as false teachers.
And you have your criteria and the next guy has his..

My comments aren't about what she or Mac teach but more
about the concept of how, why etc. on 'heretics"

It's not what we're looking AT that determines what we
see, it's what we're looking THROUGH.
