What? Men cook more now? I grew up in a conservative family where women did all that stuff besides the backyard BBQs for whatever reason.. open grill outside is somehow man stuff lol..

Although for me, I'm more egalitarian. Especially if the woman is working too.

My family is like that but I don’t want to be stuck with cooking duty. He cooks well. If I get a couple of nights off each week that will work. He does the grilling but I make the rubs and marinades. He likes to experiment.

I’m sure she’ll appreciate it.

I don't think bread alone does. Acidity? Makes sense. Yikes.

White sauces or pesto would work. You can get both on pasta and pizza.

Prilosec? I'll have to check it out. Only reason I have tums is because it was part of my hangover gift bag for my work's Christmas party. Hope it's still good.. lol.

They expire at some point. Prilosec handles acid reflux. But it works fast.

I cook, but not very well or at least knowledgeable. What I can cook, I think tastes good. Like I said, I'm transitioning away from the junk food and gas station diet, lol.

As for me, I think my problem is fear. With a lack of smell I do worry about safety issues. Like whether I cooked something long enough.. or if something is expired. I can't sniff out the warning signs.

Hard cheese lasts longer. You can cut the mold off. You can shred your own cheese with a Microplane or grater.
