going to the beach lil? fun! it's cool going to the beach once a while. Too much might not be good for the skin..

I'll have to E myself up to you to watch 'Killer Ants' Blessed!

*pout* the program was excellent! but i felt so itchy the whole hour.. imagining ants crawling up my feet..
the jack jumper ant of Tasmania was also featured.

it was funny to see the ant camera (short name "ant cam", sounds cute?) get inside the nest while the ants tried to sting the glass.. lol.

That sounded like it was a good program, we watched a DVD last night, because the other movies were really long and we weren't interested. I am not staying up past 10 pm on a Sunday. Also Dan hasn't been sleeping too well, so I had to get myself to bed early. He has canned his daytime naps as well, so I have been a very tired mummy.

I don't mind a bit of matchmaking either. Married off two of our friends a couple of years ago. But their seems to be a shortage of young single christian women, on our side of town, we have four single guys in our home group, all in there late 20's early 30's. lol.

There is like one guy who is my age and not in a serious relationship, engaged or married!!!
I was dead against liking him, because he was the only guy single... But i really like him... its really not good!!!

I'm currently wondering, whether in churches, because I'm quite sure there isn't a shortage or girls or guys in my church, that we find it hard to ask a person out because we humble too much? It's like we have a perception that we are so sinful, I feel shameful to ask this girl out or hang around this guy because they seem to be so righteous....

Hmmm, do you not want to like him? Just relax and be his friend, if it's meant to be God will work it out in the right time. There's nothing wrong with being friends with a guy. In group settings is also the best way to get to know someone too, because you get to see how they interract with other people. Also, if it turns out, he's a bit of a bore, then you don't have to have him all to yourself and be bored to tears lol.

Ooooh the Jack Jumper is cruel. So is the Inchman which is in Tassie. I recall having to use blue bags to take the swelling & pain out of one of the bites on my daughter when she was little. (we used blue in a little bag then when we rinsed the clothes) The Jack Jumper is also in Victoria. *wah*

That's what I'm trying to do mama, get to know him within a group situation. I find it so hard to talk to him when we are in a group, but one on one i am so very comfortable!!! I can talk to him for ages... weird huh...
Well i can guarentee that i would never be bored with this guy, hes a bit crazy!!! which makes it SO entertaining and fun to be around him.
I am so goneits not funny... and i'm restraining myself from letting myself like him as much as i want!!
Oh well... i'm sure when i get older i will figure out exactly why i liked him now and everything!!!

Well! Today I decided to sniff out the local Home Harware to see if they sold soluble orchid food & YES! Yates put it out Jim! It's called 'Yates Orchid Food For All Orchids'.
And, I found that my 5th orchid, which had died...has resusitated! I forget the colour of that one. And, I planted some carrots and radishes. Not alot. Enough for moi.

The beach lil! OO I love the beach! Going to Apollo Bay soon with the metal detector as I like to get near the rocks. I found things there from an old shipwreck once. Now, THAT is my kinda fun! I love looking at old abandoned houses too. But the beach, well, that's a part of our heritage I think.

Jim...you are going to have to boost that self confidence a little. Stick out that noble chin and say 'G'day!' Do you really think they are better than you! When I go to church I sit with millionaires. And, they act no different than anyone else to me. I say 'G'day', and they grin & say 'G'day you'. But then...I am a bit cheeky. Some of them try to act righteous but, you don't judge a book by it's cover.

Errum....I never trust "Orchid foods" nor do I trust pellets.

The "Orchid Food" is mainly for "Cymbidiums", for all orchids means for all Cymbidiums....it's those little tricks that corporates pull up....but if you have cymbidiums, save the fertiliser up for cymbidiums...because Jim here has different techniques for growing different orchids....aquired by experience from all these years.

When it says "Orchid Medium" and you see bark in it, then it's quality Bark to be used for "Cymbidiums" and other tree hugging orchid like your cattleyas. However I would not use all that medium on cattleya, a mixture of scoria and wood, or if the plant was in my room, fully scoria, that way I can spray it all day...

On the whole Bev, I have stacks of info...keeping an orchid alive needs experience, understanding...and creativity.... sometimes you need to break the rules....like I have...lol...that purple flower I showed you and Blessed, that wasn't suppose to flower this year, it was too small to flower this year....but I broke the rules by fertilising it in autumn and winter and spring, and it poped out a bloom.....so in some sense the orchid broke the rules as well....

I think I used the wrong word, but the idea is the same. Some of the girls at church have achieved something I've always wanted to achieve, but it's kinda...actually some of those are too late for my age....but then again, God made me this way....God is soverign.

And in that very sense, my gut tells me, look at them and look at the slob you are....you've been trying to be like them, and they are like that even without themselves noticing it....

No slob grow's orchids! Have a look at all the dead beats around the place & ask them if they grow orchids. I'll betcha bottom dollar they wouldn't know what one was. They'd probably ask you what is tasted like.
You've got enough knowledge to sink a battleship too. How many others can pope an orchid bloom...and out of season too...instant head of the catholic church!

I've gotta buy some new ones. I want one like your's'..it's breaking my heart that orchid...

I feel it's not enough...but I know I need to break that soon.....otherwise ...lol....I'll hate myself .... I'll wait till the people interstate and overseas return.

The food you have there are perfect for Cymbidiums, infact my mum uses them for her Cymbidiums and I have no problems with that just so long as it doesn't run into my orchids.

I feed my orchids with "Charlie Carp Fertiliser" or "Seaweed solution"...

As for new orchids, send me an email of your address, and I'll see what I can give you...through parcel postage.
I have a lot that I seriously want to get rid of because I don't have enough sunlight in my apartment to smack them bloom.

Hmmmm...I have dendrobium hybrids that would survive the cold, as well as Laelias that need a lot of sun...and Aussie dendrobiums which I have a stack full because they never die.....

Of course!! I used to always use fish fertiliser once! No wonder your orchid bloomed out of season. The smell nearly knocked me flat! But..I never bloomed for awhile after using it....I'll try the seaweed, and the Yates on the denrobiums.'s. WOW!!!

I throw out my mum's cymbidiums, they're taking too much room, and they're not flowering...

Oh, you don't understand, each of those large cymbidiums are 30-60kgs, it'll cost me a fortune to send them over.....and to lift it to the post office.....geez

I probably shouldn't have mentioned that....I thought it'd be ok to mention it here because it is a Christian Forum....I've been though a huge argument with a good friend of mine, she said that is extremely bias and judgemental..(she wasn't Christian either).....

The thing is, I wanted a girl that loves God....HEAPS!!!!
And for a non-Christian to wakeup one day, get converted and says... I love God....I don't think that'll happen......it takes years to understand and finally find the time to admire God....

The last thing this world would do is love God......

And besides, if I do witness them, they may be witnessed for me rather than for the Salvation from faith in Jesus.....

Being awakened is very important...that I cannot throw away...

The thing is, I'm sure theres heaps that have awakened, but it all comes down to myself again.....this is a journey I have to complete.....I will find someways to get rid of that boulder in my path....
