Maybe, I was unclear in my question. Maybe if I surround my question with a multitude of words you will understand better? As this seems to be what you like to do with your answers?
Yet I cannot find a multitude of words to go along with this simple question.
I asked: ""Do you believe that you will ever be without sin in this life? "
Yet you cant help but answer questions concerning "known unrepentant sin." Why cant you just answer the question? Or at least, if you have to separate sins into categories, give an answer that would cover all of your sin categories.
You leave me no choice but to guess and assume since you cannot answer plainly.
I assume that you are saying that, after you are saved, you are still capable of committing UNKOWN REPENTANT SINs?
If this assumption is correct, and going along with your statement that "sin separates you from the love of God," can we conclude that You are separate from God's love, when you commit these types of sins, after you were saved and connected to Gods love prior to committing this sin?
Thank you my dear friend but I answered you directly the first time and understood your question the first time and simply provided the supporting scriptures as evidence of my answer to you.
God's Word teaches that it is not God's will that we sin *1 JOHN 2:1 and that salvation is from sin not to continue in sin *JOHN 8:31-36. According to the scriptures "sanctification" is the work of a lifetime because we are to continue in the scripture believing and following God's Word moment by moment and day by day in order to be his disciples *JOHN 8:31; JOHN 15:4; MATTHEW 10:22.
According to the scriptures when we first become Christians we are likened to babes in Christ because we do not know much about the Words of God *1 PETER 2:2. Then as we continue in God's Word and start seeking God for ourselves through His Word, God's Spirit guides us and becomes our teacher *ISAIAH 28:9; JOHN 14:26; JOHN 16:13; JOHN 17-17. This is a part of God's new covenant promise *HEBREWS 8:11.
According to the scriptures there are two categories of sin as we grow in Christ. Sins we know about in our lives that are sin and sins we do not know about that are latter revealed to us as sin*JAMES 4:17' ACTS 17:30-31; HEBREWS 10:26-27.
As we grow in God's grace and the knowledge of the truth *COLOSSIANS 3:10; 1 TIMOTHY 2:4; 1 CORINTHIANS 15:34; 2 CORINTHIANS 10:5; EPHESIANS 1:7; EPHESIANS 4:13; PHILIPPIANS 3:8; COLOSSIANS 1:9-10; 2 PETER 1:3-5, God revleals more things to us though his Word that are sins and calls us to repent of these sins when he reveals them to us *HEBREWS 10:26-27. When we do not know something is sin (unknown sin) than in times of ignorance God does not hold us accountable to these sins *ACTS 17:30-31.
At every step of the way, day by day we can choose to believe and follow God's Word or not to believe and follow God's Word. We need to abide in Christ (the Word) because without JESUS we can do nothing *JOHN 15:4; 1 JOHN 3:6. The scriptures teach that if we are born of God we will not practice (known) sin *1 JOHN 3:9. Practicing sin is the difference between the children of God and the children of the devil *1 JOHN 3:9-10 and those who have a form of godliness *2 TIMOTHY 3:5 and those who are godly *2 CORINTHIANS 7:10; TITUS 2:12.
Now as posted earlier it is not God's will that we sin (known sin). If any of us sin however all is not lost, we have an advocate with the father JESUS Christ the righteouss *1 JOHN 2:1. It we continue in sin when we have been given a knowledge of the truth however, there remains no more sacrifice for sin but a fearful looking forward to of the judgement to come *ACTS 17:30-31; HEBREWS 10:26-39.
May you receive God's Word and be blessed.
