CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

MyIE2 is 'the fastest browser on earth' for me. I've tried them all just about (Opera, Mozilla, Phoenix). So far, MyIE2 is working best. It uses Internet Explorer parts, but is faster (I'm on dialup and need all the help I can get), has popup blocking, tabbed browsing -- many of the features Opera has.
When I don't use MyIE2, I use Internet Explorer 6, a fine, stable browser.
Seriously, when we discuss speed of browsers, I believe THAT depends a lot on the speed of your internet connection. I've noticed when I have a good connection, I fly across the internet, no matter what browser I'm using. If I have a bad connection, no browser would make a bit of difference in my speed.

I use IE 6 although I thought IE 5 was better. Netscape 7 is alright, but it opens to many windows and is slow.

i use mozilla for some of the reasons people have mentioned previously:
- tabbed browsing
- pop-up killing (i'm so used to NOT seeing popups that I was actually surprised when I saw them when using my friend's laptop)
- ability to block advertisements from servers
- integrated mail client/news reader
- baysian spam filters

ie is most convenient and really quick to load. opera has awesome features but sometimes i just want to go on the internet quick and find a website. opera takes forever to load, its like a program. bah
