What reasonable evidence would you consider adequate? What was the reasonable, testable, and adequate evidence that led you to accept creationism?

Actually, that's irrelevant.
There can be no proof one way or another.

But the evolutionist's evidence is only evidence of possibility, not of fact.

Only in the same way that a forensic scientist's evidence is evidence of possibility, not of fact. I mean, it's possible that the suspect shared fingerprints with the real murderer, and is actually innocent, just like it's possible that we have telomeric DNA in the middle of chromosome two, a spare, broken centromere on chromosome two, and genes on chromosome two that line up with the genes on chimp chromosome 2A and 2B all due to chance, not due to a fusion event of 2A and 2B.

All science does is determine possibilities, except it's so unlikely that those possibilities are wrong we call them fact, because we'd get bored qualifying them if we didn't.

You are still acting like these are two equal notions, thought up on a whim. They aren't. Evolutionary biology has the weight of evidence supporting it and is a bonafide scientific theory. Creationism is a religion.

Fine. What EVIDENCE would you consider adequate in order for you to tentatively accept evolution as a solidly supported theory? Notice that I never used the word "proof", "proven", or "proved".

You are asking for too much. Creationists are totally ignorant in all matters scientific thus they automatically refute anything scientific in favor of their religious beliefs.

The very fact that we are using our computers to communicate over the internet is more than ample proof that creationism is hogwash!

No matter what you say to them; they have been programmed to respond with refute!

I've never met a young earth creationist who had even a basic grasp of the theory of evolution.

just about all young earth creationists have been brainwashed by their parents who tell them to think along the lines of "God said it, I believe it, that settles it". for the most part, they're programmed not to think.

LOL, whenever my parents are talking about that subject, they say "if evolution is true then mothers would have 4 arms" seriously, how stupid is that?

You are living proof that religion need not conflict with sound science. I commend you on your logical way of thinking and truly wish that all religious people shared your views so that society may go on tackling real problems rather than spending taxpayer money on trying to demolish what centuries of erudition has built.

Well said my man

You are in no position to judge science.

We Christians hold science to a higher Standard than even scientists do --- the Bible. We have much more respect for science than any Atheist does.

Creationism is totally ANTI SCIENCE...

Is that so? Just because you can't explain it correctly in scientific terms like we can, doesn't mean it's "anti-science".

...and the proof that creationism is hogwash is the very fact that we are using the internet right now!

Now that's funny --- seeing as how the Internet is mentioned in the Bible.

Creationism hates science because science refutes creationism. Frankly when a grownup believes in fairy tales it really makes me wonder!

Creationism is Antiscience. Whether you like it or not. Case closed.

You mean "We Creationists"; since most Christians accept science in the manner required by science. Whereas Creationists pretend to embrace science when all they want is to get rid of it altogether and take mankind back to the stone age.

AV1 I honestly believe you are pulling our legs. I really cannot believe that an adult can hold such views as yours without doing so in jest.

[bible]Job 38:35[/bible]

Actually every time before your God delivered a sermon to some poor prophet he did so with LIGHTNING preceding his speech. That is what is meant in your bible quote. Thinking that it meant the Internet is only believable after a heavy dose of LSD!

That's like saying "We hold science to a higher standard than even scientists do -- the insane ramblings of a hermit living in a cave!"

It doesn't work if the standards aren't actually higher.

Is that so? Just because you can't explain it correctly in scientific terms like we can

Hint: "Goddidit" is not scientific.

doesn't mean it's "anti-science".

If it has no good evidence, it's not scientific. Trying to present it as such is, therefore, anti-science.

Now that's funny --- seeing as how the Internet is mentioned in the Bible.

[bible]Job 38:35[/bible]

Last time I checked, the internet was NOT lightning.
