You have no idea what I taught my child and no one has a right to tell someone else they’re a bad parent because they have different values, ideas or religious beliefs.
An equivalent would be someone suggesting that we teach all children that there are people with beliefs, with faiths, who are religious. That there are many religions. That some believe that their God sent His son to die for our sins and they believe that His son is their saviour. And that we shouldn't treat those people any differently from other people because of their beliefs. That we should respect their right to their beliefs.
I already posted the full lyrics. "You are evil and unfit so we will mold your children for you" is what's being said. Why all of a sudden is LGBTQIA+ the prime source of good qualities? Is that what we're all supposed to believe now?
That’s not what’s going on and you know it. I taught my child the way I saw fit I didn’t need anyone else to do it for me without my knowledge. He’s a grown man and probably agrees more with you on this issue than with me. Why do you think parents need someone else to do this for them? You gag on a fly but swallow an elephant trying to defend these people

Parents shouldn't need others to teach their children to treat gay people with respect. It should be a given. But you've seen the comments that are rife in this forum. Do you think the people who make such comments are teaching their kids kindness and respect for others, no matter what their personal preferences are in a partner?
It's a nonsensical point (addressed to you because OC has me on ignore). Nobody is saying that gay people are better, let alone gay people themselves. The point is, repeated constantly, is that you don't consider someone's sexual orientation in deciding whether they deserve kindness and respect. You don't throw out terms like evil, obscene, degenerate and have them apply to anyone who is gay just because they are gay.
Since you're not onboard with turning kids over to LGBYQIA2+ to be raised properly, you're obviously a bad person and parent. But though enough LGBYQIA2+ influence on kids you'll be the last of your generation.
You think they are hypocrites? Saying one thing anonymously on a forum and then telling their kids something completely different? In my long experience with forums, the anonymity seems to give people a freedom to express themselves in ways that reflect their true beliefs. Their true selves. In forum veritas I would suggest.
The thing is I could be a liberal, gay Jewish Democrat woman pretending to be someone else on an anonymous forum.
Well, that would just be weird. The vast majority of people on forums generally, and specifically on ones that discuss religion and politics and philosophy like this one are here because they have views that they like to air. They like to argue their corner. To make an argument based on their personal view of the world. And what they say reflects their beliefs. It's probably the one place where the anonymity gets us closer to the truth of someone's character.
Likewise. And do you know why we didn't want our kids inheriting our prejudices? Because we came to realise that pre judging people is wrong. But there are so many hereabouts that are literally preaching that it's acceptable. They are saying things that we would be ashamed to hear our sons say.
You've told me. You've told me that you did your best not to pass on your prejudices. I commend you for that. But I would suggest that you are a small exception to the rule.
