Given that the first person shown as a child sexual predator, David Eugene Wallace, is not even listed as one of the singers (that would be David Shawn Wallace), I doubt that any of the people being presented as predators are in the choir. Whoever made this obviously didn't do their homework.

They’re calling it satire but I didn’t find anything funny about it.
Which is a pretty good indication that it's directed at you. Those at whom the satire is directed are not likely to find it funny. It's kinda designed that way.

It’s not directed at me I don’t have young children. But the idea of teaching things to children without the parents knowledge is not funny at all and has actually been happening in some places.
Material like this does nothing to help the cause of LGBTQ people.
This is the kind of “in your face “, “ramming down your throat “ stuff that people find offensive.

They'll become more caring. More loving.
It's not about becoming more caring or loving, it's about desensitizing and making oversexualized.

It's directed at those who think that teaching children about the differences in gender that they will experience as they grow and instilling into them that all people must be treated with respect is offensive.

I can translate what they’re saying, since a lot of you are having a hard time with it.

“You keep saying we’re coming for your children, as predators or groomers. We are not interested in your children in this way. But we do still have something to contribute to their development: kindness, caring, and empathy. Based on how you treat us, these aren’t things you’ve learned so there’s no reason to think you’ll impart it to them. Don’t worry, we will!”

The fact that people are mad at this only plays into their hands. Mad that your children will learn good qualities? Then you’re a bad parent.

Who gave you the right to determine how to raise someone else’s children? Just because you don’t agree with them doesn’t give you the right to decide what someone else teaches their own children. Parents have a right to know what their children are being taught and have a right to disagree even if you don’t like it. And who are you to call someone a bad parent?

Note what was referenced as being taught: kindness, caring, and empathy. Why don't we agree that those are great things for any parent to teach their children. So, in the very obvious context of the thread, that would mean being kind to everyone, including gay friends or class mates or colleagues or relatives or anyone at all in fact. And caring for everyone as well. And empathising with what they may well be feeling if someone isn't kind or caring.

This assumes that these people are deserving of kindness and that they deserve our care. Whether they are gay or straight. But not to simply differentiate on that basis alone.

Wouldn't that be good parenting?

Let me and everyone else teach their own children those things. Don’t tell us we are incapable of teaching our own children. When have I ever been unkind to a gay or transgender person or taught my child to be unkind? Why do I need strangers to teach my child about these things without my knowledge? You are being dishonest in the way you are presenting this and you know it. You think this is a gotcha scenario. It’s not

Yeah, but you posted it because you thought they'd been convicted of child offences. And you don't recognise satire into the bargain. Indeed, they said they'd teach children. They'd teach them not to hate. And the term they used was a not too subtle comment on the garbage that we hear so often; that gays are 'coming for the children'. But too subtle for some, I guess. They were making fun of those who use such language. Making fun of you. And you couldn't even grasp that.

What was linked to was gutter politics. I can't blame you for it because you had no part in making it. But you had a part in disseminating it, without even a cursory attempt to check it's validity.
Even if it is a hoax it’s sick. And this just shows that most of the LGBtQ community finds this smut - child pornography somehow funny. Nothing is funny about the homosexuals coming after children. Even to say it in a Haha manner is sick. This is why some people are so fearful of the spread of LGBT education to their children. For stuff like this. And the sickness when people defend it. It’s not ok. I wonder if we Christians make a video Saying haha to the known abomination and consequence for those in the LGBTQ. I wonder would they laugh at the fact that they are on their way to a devil’s hell. Or if someone makes a joke that All those who participate in such vile and heinous acts. Especially, transgenders are on their way to hell. I wonder if they would find that funny?

The song is directed at those who don't teach their children these things in regard to gays. Or those that think that a simple message like the one given is some underhand means of grooming children. I mean how many times have we heard that stated as a matter of course. How often is that word twisted and bent out of all recognisable shape and used as a club with which to beat any given gay person over the head?

That you can't see the obvious satire in the song is in itself a problem. And it's because you have automatically and prejudicially assumed the worst. They're gay? Well, that means (insert whatever negative is applicable here).

How good it would have been had you said something along the lines of: 'Yeah, I get it. It's satire. Meant to be funny. I see the point they are making. But...' and then gone on to make some reasonable point that could be discussed. Instead? 'They say it's meant to be satire'.

You mean like the person who said I support pedophiles and want to make it easier for them to molest children because I don’t think 3 year olds need to discuss sexual orientation and gender identity? Just stop. Your argument is completely dishonest. You would feel differently if I made a video joking that we’re going to teach your children to accept Jesus as Savior without your knowledge. Yeah, we’d just be making fun of you because you say Christians indoctrinate children

Isn’t it amazing the mental gymnastics they will do to defend this garbage?

No one is raising children on your behalf. They’re just teaching them the good manners you didn’t. If you don’t want them learning it from the gays, tech them yourself. If you don’t want them learning it at all, you’re a bad parent.
