  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

my main projects (meaning novels, not short stories):

Blue: Legacy
A corrupt democracy is replaced with a coup de tat, headed by a syndicate known as the Internation Police Force. With the help of the Blue Assassins, they were able to eliminate the old democracy restore peace. However, two generations later, Captain Jared Horosu banishes the Blue Assassins and condmens them to death for murdering countless political celeberities. Three parts: Ultimatum, Pilgrimage and Mutiny; possibly a fourth part entitled Julia.

Zachariah
Zachariah is an angel of death sent to earth thousands of years ago. Although some earth angels can go back to heaven , he has not been called back yet. As he loses faith that there is a God, he meets various characters. Sort of an autobiography form.

Butterfly Technology
Technology roughly based on the Butterfly Effect, (stating that the flap of a butterfly's wings in one dimmension can cause someone in another dimmension to pull out a machine gun and mow down a classroom of kids), is exploited by a business for their own use. A new generation of fortune tellers arise, claiming that they can use this technology to fulfill their patron's dreams. The business carelessly kills, tortures, rapes, and steals whatever is necessary to get more money.

Demon
A demon sent to earth begins an underground in the pure Angel City; a city built over the post-apocolypse world led by a race who get the name Angels because of their pure white skin. Told through a collection of stories based in the same area with the same group of characters.

Death Talker
After Sydney's motehr and sister die in a freak car accident, she moves in with her aunt. One day, she finds an exotic flower on her door step. After picking it up, she finds that the specter of death follows her, and only she can see him.

My short stories collection (meaning under 40 pages)

Spaceship Marathon 5
Aye, my first shot at sci fi space fic. The Marathon 5 was sent out for help as a last ditch effort when a force (at first thought to be God and his legion of angels, since then proven otherwise) attacks earth. Only one member survives it's voyage. Spaceship Marathon 5 recounts the before, during, and after effects of it's voyage.

Under the Waterfall, Under the Bridge, Under the Cave-in
A three part series, no main title to call them. A girl goes on vacation with her family at the beginning of summer break when she meets an island boy she knew as a kid. He takes her to a waterfall, and instead of a romantic moment as she is expecting, the wall disappears, and on the other side is what appears to be an academy. She is banished there, because she possess a gift that her family (and many others) sees as a curse and a threat. Originally sent to die, she escapes, only to return there later for someone she left behind.

Privelleged Information
A crook is sent to kidnap a boy as part of a larger scheme to get to some money. However, a girl mistakes the boy to be her brother, and so to avoid any problems he accidently kidnaps her instead.

Point of Vision
An award winning author goes on a world tour, only to find out that one of the characters is stalking her. As she tries to rid the stalker, she battles her own sanity and the growing crowd of fans. I got this idea after reading Dean Koontz...is it one of his books?

Dragon Whistle
A traveller falls at the Baker's front doorstep. He agrees to telling stories in exchange for food, as the family is on the outskirts of the Royal manner. He gives the little girl the Dragon Whistle. It reccounts his journies as well as the little girl's journies with the dragon whistle.

Into The Metronome
Reccounts the journy of a nameless big band trying to become famous in a predominately rock n roll world.

Dang, you got alot of work to do

i'm trying to write a novel, but i got too many threads.

and one history of two characters is enough to get a book of their own!

so i'm kind of stuck on what to do.

Those are the best type of books! I like books with a lot of threads and a lot of different things happening all at once, just as long as the author doesnt get confused...:p

a book about a man who is shunned by his high-flying successful businessman father for being intellectually challenged, who runs away to a small village where everyone is plotting against each other, and then eventually most of them turn on him. then he works his way out of his troubles, becomes reunited with his brother, tackles his depression, falls in love and gets married...then his wife gets shot! It's really sad, and complicated. i made my friend read it, and she got to what seemed like the happy ending ending and she was really happy, then she read on and a load of people died! i suppose it's a series of unfortunate events, except it's got some happy bits in it, but those make the sad bits even worse!

Let's see...
1) Abadon, a fantasy with major action located in a fictional world...
2) Pevensey, a historical novel on William the Conqueror,
3) The Lone Bay Window, a histircal novel on the Civil War, and my latest project,
4) The Wonderful Life of Angela Demanio, a major comedy about a girl living in a hilarious apartment complex.

That is amazing! Not to mention you must be very busy. And I must say that it inspires me.:)

I am just starting my third draft of my first (sort of. I've attempted others and mostly completed them, but then put off until after this one) novel. I think I'll probably call it A Thorn in the Flesh, based off of 2 Corinthians 12. It's set near the end of the revolutionary war. The story centers around a young woman who is jailed for a crime she didn't commit and sentenced to transportation. The other criminals end up taking over the ship and she is set free, so she is faced with the decision of whether to work with them, which she knows is wrong, or to refuse and be killed. It gets more complicated as the man she is in love with ends up working with them. THey go through quite a few adventures, but that is essentially what it is about.

really? thanks. Lots of books out there concentrate on 1-2 threads, so i'm not too comfortable with the direction i'm heading, though i love writing more threads than one.

well, short attention span.. it's a way of getting something written, and then merge the threads somehow. :D

Glad to hear it. I'm working on a book entitled Through the Crimson Blood and its sort of like that. It was original just a short story, but that's not a good way to write a short story

I'm currently working on a book called Valleys Deep & Mountains High. A collection of poems, analogies, observations, true stories. Mosytly taken from real life situations or based on real people. Some are just about my belief. I've been writing them for nearly five years. I send out a weekly email entitled 'Wake Up To God' every Monday which includes one such writing.

Keeps me thinking, a good discipline. Also good therapy getting things out of my mind and onto paper.

I have several projects in progress, but am spending most of my time on just one of them. They are all historical novels, centered around the same set of people.

The one I'm working on most is Against All Odds (the working title), and the first draft is almost finished. It's about two girls in Nazi-occupied Poland, one Christian and one Jewish, and their families.

Then there are:

Refining Fire: about the Polish Christian girl from Against All Odds, grown up now and living in Communist Poland with her husband and family.
Marie's Courage: about a family's struggles in post-WWI Poland.
Hatikvah: about the experiences of a Jewish family who are working hard to create a new life in Palestine, just after WWII.
Franciszka's Journey: Franciszka looks for lost relatives in war-torn Europe, and works to overcome prejudice as she tries to start an orphanage.

I have a few others waiting in the shadows, but haven't done much more than outlines.
