CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This movie is more style than substance.. which is ok I guess. Some beautiful cinematography for 1983.

The movie was alright. Pretty thin on material but I'm sure the women loved it. Which is fine, men love their junky man films too. Lol.

Will probably watch Fatal Attraction once. By the same guy who directed Flash Dance.. although in this case I've seen it before and it's a good film.. probably one of the scariest and most disturbing film I've ever seen. This is probably much more true for the male audience than the female.. lol.

The Hoverport at Ryde. It seems to be a popular live feed (well over 350 people yesterday day time). The hovercraft depart at 15 minutes past the hour and arrive at about 38-40 minutes past the hour during off peak hours (more frequently during peak hours).

Watching Ocean's Eleven on Netflix. Never seen the film before, and so far it is alright.
Have to say that it is hard watching Bernie Mac in this because he actually died a few years after his film was made. Honestly I am not sure why I am so sensitive about this particular actor's death but it's always stuck in my mind. The only reason I can think of him sticking out in my mind was watching the Transformer movie back in 2008. It was one of the first high definition films I've watched and I remember thinking about how clear his image appeared on the film and remarking how he was now a cold corpse in the ground. This was back when 1080P felt like looking through a clear window in real life, lol.

I am anticipating watching the new Dune movie. They say that much disclosure happens within such productions. I can definitely envision a message about the whole worldwide thing going down, embedded (symbolically primarily) within.
