Since Thanksgiving is fast approaching for those of us who live in America, I thought that it might be edifying if we had a thread where we could tell of what we are thankful for and, in doing so, glorify God who is the giver of all good gifts. Post as often as you want-whenever you have something that you are especially thankful for and would like to share.
Right now, I'm thankful for the family that God has given me. I have two parents whom I respect and love, three sisters ages 14, 5, and 3, a brother age 12, and two wonderful maternal grandparents. I am also thankful that all of those listed (except for the two little girls, of course) are Calvinists and appear to be converted. Therefore, we have unity in this part of my family regarding religion. I have many cousins whom I love dearly (being Italian, it would take forever to list them all
) a few Christian aunts and uncles, several non-Christian aunts and uncles, and two sets of unconverted grandparents on my father's side of the family. I love being part of a big family (even if there are no secrets
!).
