I hope most people are not like me. I am reading a number of books at one time. It may be an attention span problem. I jump from this book and that book.

Here goes:

1. God As He Longs for Us To See Him - Chip Ingram

2. Secrets to Spiritual Power - Watchman Nee

3. Love Is Always Right - Norm Geisler and Josh McDowell

4. The Invisible War - Chip Ingram

5. Bringing Your Faith to Work - Normal L. Geisler and Randy Douglass

6. "Lord, Teach Me To Pray - Kay Arthur

7. What Matters Most - Tony Evans

8. Last but not least, "Teaching to Change Lives - Dr. Howard Hendricks

A few of them are almost finished and some are just starting.

What happens I go to the Bible Book Store and I am like a little kid I have to have all the sparkling books that shine for me. I buy several and start reading each book the same day.

God Bless
Gordon

Only I can read about three or four at once. I have a book in my car, in my livingroom, and in my bedroom. I love reading. I like fiction as well so the one in the car is fiction, Called The Romanove Prophecies, In my living room I have more fiction by Joe Land... I really have to read whatever I can get, because I don't endulge myself on books too much, though I'd love to. And my small town library occassionally gets new books, and then they have a waiting list. So I buy books from the Dollar Store, Ingles Shopping Center, or Walmart. We don't have a Bookstore around here. There was a Christian Bookstore but it didn't do well with the people who live around here.

The one in my bedroom, by my computer, is The Excellent Wife--by; Martha Peace, I am reading this book for a course I am doing. In the ladies room I have God's smuggler;by Robert Andrew. I read a lot of old books that I find at yard sales as well.

Besides my schoolbooks (Contemporary Nutrition, The Heath Anthology of Literature, Microsoft Office 2007), I'm reading Just Like Jesus and Savannah from Savannah. That sounds like a lot, maybe I should cut back!!

You mean people still read...!?

As for me, just started re-reading the Collected Works of James Allen (perhaps the best non-scriptural books ever written about God-man relationships) and am currently in book 9 of the Left-Behind series.

I finished Kingdom Come and it a good book. It made me want to go and start the series over again. Does anyone have any suggestions on any books. I love to read.
The Ragamuffin Gospel and Get out of that pit! the pit book is by Beth Moore and the Ragamuffin Gospel is by Brennan Manning both are excellent reads. You will get a blessing from both of them I can promise that. Enjoy!
