I am reading Pilgrims Progress now, thank you for the sharing about the Holy War. That will be my next book.

I also love Pilgrim's Progress, and I also highly recomend by the same author "Grace Abounding to the Chief of Sinners".

Which Mary are you talking about? Are you talking about Mary from the new testament? I don't recall a Gospel according to Mary.

Anyhoo, I got up to Samuel 1 and am close to reading Samuel 2

I also enjoy reading the various letters of Paul, formerly known as Saul

I am currently reading Luke as well.

Have you heard any discouraging rumors going around about Rick Warren?

Yes I have, and I am currently entering the second week of the book. We discussed it in sunday school, and the best I can figure is that if you pray about it and keep an open heart while reading it that God will use those words and give you what he wants you to have out of it. I don't agree with everything I'm reading in there and the use of multiple translations is a little weird for me, but I am just trying to keep an open mind and heart and let God guide me through it.
