in the last two days, more than 140,000 per day infected with the covid virus. More than 1400 dead per day, which hasn’t been the total for months.
It seems that both Republican and Democratic states are not controlling the virus. Ones blame President Trump, but each state, as far as I know, has autonomy enough to cut down its own spread. Massachusetts did what worked, with a "liberal" Republican governor overseeing a Democratic state. The only reason Massachusetts has more spread now is because the state's own restrictions have been eased up. So, I see how the President can not decide what each state does > ones more or less blame Donald, but each state has its own power to do things.
Plus . . . each American has the power to decide if he or she wears a mask and keeps it six. I do, because my companion is 83 or so years old; I love her; so the sacrifice is not too much. I pretty much isolate from everyone else. But love makes it easy
But I feel for the ones who can't work and they don't have money. And it is reported how children not in school are being isolated with their abusers.
It seems we have people who have made the sacrifices for months; so now they are quite unhappy that all their effort has not made the virus go away. People's wills might be broken so they do not have hope that what they do can help.
But I have compared the official medical claims with my personal medical background and research, and it seems to me that the mainstream stuff matches with what I have understood for decades from my personal education. So, I just do the mask and hand washing and distance thing, and enjoy loving people by welcoming them to go down store aisles before me.
My take is that in the United States each person has one's own rights and can feel responsible for what he or she believes.
This can isolate a lot of Americans as their own dictators!! And now this virus item is bringing out how much of a problem the every-person-for-oneself method can become. But in Australia I think there can be more unity of the people, since historically you have been under a monarchy, in the past; you've developed to be more culturally accustomed to be told what to do by someone higher-up. Also, you have a smaller population for the higher ones to control, hopefully only as needed. So, it can be easier to get everyone to do the same thing.
My opinion is I can not prove there is or is not a virus. People can be made to believe anything. Just look at how about half of Americans can seem absolutely convinced Donald is right, while the other half are totally about Joe. And I am told how certain people used to believe that giant boulders were bones left behind by their reptile gods who got killed while fighting other reptile gods. And yes I used to believe in Santa Claus . . . including how at midnight he delivered gifts to every house, all around the whole world.
Adolph was able to get a large part of Germany to believe it was a good idea to fight the whole world, in order to have Naziism. So, yes a whole country or a major part of one can be fooled into believing what is not so.
So, of course, somehow the virus thing could be a rig . . . for all I know as a human, myself. Among other possibilities, Donald was taking things over, around the world. Ones might have wanted to get back at him, in retaliation for his tariff actions and moving the capital of Israel, among other things. Ones have been trying intensely to use the COVID-19 thing to make Donald look bad. It, for all I am capable of proving, could be real or fake, but either way used to help to discredit him.
My personal take, though, is it got started by an everyday human, and humans the way we are have made sure things come to how things are now. And human theories and politics will keep helping
Even so, I understand each state has constitutional authority to manage controls, plus each individual American is choosing. And it looks as though a lot of Americans have individually chosen not to take the precautions. But I see a lot of masks, even outside, where I am in Massachusetts. And I like my cute blue thing
I am surprised people are not making cloth photos of the bottom of their faces and putting these on their masks with a smile.
But it seems a number of religious people feel Democrats are trying to use the COVID-19 thing to get control. Yet, it seems, even Democratic states are out of control; but "nonbelievers" in those states might be part of their problem. But, my opinion is that, really, each person is making one's own choice. And one person can get the thing started in a church, or nursing home, or party or family gathering.
I went to a nursing home to ask about seeing a resident. No one was monitoring the door, plus a sign said make sure you wear a mask. So, in I went, immediately to be told by the woman at the front desk, that I wasn't supposed to be in the building, meaning I should not have even come inside the door! So, she and I went back to the entry sign and she stared at it, as though she was trying to make it say to stay out, when it did not say to stay out! It said to wear a mask.
What I consider is they were all so busy with all the stuff, that they just could not connect with making sure the most up-to-date and accurate sign was at the door. People just do not have the competence and discipline to keep going in a strict system which keeps making changes, after they got in the habit of being able to do everyone's own thing with simple and stable regulation, and not constantly changing dictation.
Ones can be so busy with what they expect others to do so they can do what they want for themselves. They are not at all concerned with what is to be expected from them. This is what can come with democracy and individual rights.
