I heard the LL Cool J collab with Eminem today and the track is sick. The music is tight and I'm not a rap fan but I was there when it started and I know a good track when I hear it. For those who aren't familiar with LL's catalog listen to Go to Cut Creator Go.

I remember walking around with my friends and there was always someone with a boombox and the right song blaring. Em pays homage to the pioneers by dropping lines from Big Daddy Kane and the requisite tee and scene with the grapes.

I heartily recommend the remake (Murdergram).

Really great stuff from a guy named David Pataconi. Sadly, he has stage 4 cancer. Please pray for him.

This song seems a lot like something you would hear on a NIN album (not that I listen to that anymore).

I saw a notice that Frankie Beverly died and it seemed surreal. The first time I heard his music I was 11 and I knew intrinsically that he understood love as much as one could at that age. But songs like that were plentiful then. I contemplated what I'd post. A popular tune or something from his catalog that left me bettered and chose the latter.
