Indeed. Had a brief talk last evening with my wife on my birthday coming up next week. It has always been a sore point that I would just as soon ignore. But God has been dealing with me and I want to do something for it. Part of His dealing is He wants me to re-claim myself, the parts of me that were lost due to childhood trauma and abuse. (no, I am not dissociative)It's not always easy to follow Jesus, for He shines the light on areas that need fixing, but it's always worth it.
