THE meeting just got over. The pastor and elders are wanting to start with prayer by the LAT members and what elders or deacons are available. The music/number of songs was discussed as being shortened up, especially the warmup and run thru right before the service. It always drags out which sometimes actually delays the start of service.

One part of the service our pastor wanted to drop was a video series “Thru the Bible.” But a lot of the children and youth are actually paying attention to it. (Very good thing) so that will be kept in, but probably moved from where it is in the order of service.

Stabbed myself in the finger removing the pit from an avocado during lunch today. Had to go to urgent care and get stitches.. Ugh, I'm dumb. Weirdest thing was all the fat in my finger spilled out and she had to tuck it back in.

So not the BEST day in the world...

Those dang avocados can be a menace. I nearly chopped my fingers off cutting a spaghetti squash today. But they are so worth the wrestle. I made spaghetti squash lasagna. Big hit!!

Multitasking....homework and watching Amazon Prime...The Cosby show always makes me laugh! Hubby is working out.
It is too dang cold in my neck of the woods. -20 is not fun! Too much snow and too much winter. January is not my favourite month. *pout*

Really??? Spaghetti squash is a great alternative to most pasta dishes. I can't eat grains. Plus, it is delicious which is a major bonus.

Yes, we have butternut, although we treat it as a variety of pumpkin. (Butternut, Jap, Kent being the most common varieties here).

Just Cause 3 I have for the ps4 upstairs, haven't had a chance to play 4 yet. Just Cause 2 I got from steam over Christmas for my laptop cause it was $1.50 (a fun game for less than the cost of a medium cup of coffee? I'm in), which you can get a bunch of fun mods for. So I've been replaying that to wind down from work.

As for what I'm doing right now - I'm eating a great tasting but probably terrible for me burger from A&W.
