Watched a church service online, and it was amazing. Really great. I'm into fitness, but the message had to do with a Biblical view on fitness, and how if we are not godly, it's all for nothing. I agree. Vanity and seeing how many likes you get on your looks on social media, isn't glorifying God. It's glorifying ourselves. Excellent message.

I felt like wet, soggy cotton this morning when I woke up for church.
I was glad I went to church. The sermon was great!

Now I am having a chocolate attack...must. have. chocolate. NOWWWWWWWWW!

We had a guest preacher and a really great sermon yesterday, too. It was Epiphany, and he pointed out something I've never quite realised before... under Jewish law the Magi ought to have been put to death (Pagan astrologer-priests that they were). Yet here they are worshipping the Christ child...

Hmmmm. Maybe. I have heard that theory also.

I have also heard that they were Jewish themselves, Satraps from Babylon after the model of Daniel, Shadrach Mishach and Abednego. A very large Jewish community did not return with Ezra and Nehemiah but stayed behind. They were the authors of the Babylonian Talmud published circa 500 ad.

Watched a little of the golden globe awards. Just once, it would be nice for an actor or actress to thank God but since most films are godless, I guess that would be weird. Lol “Thank you to God for letting me act in yet another movie glamourizing infidelity and depravity.” Yea, that wouldn’t make sense.

And somehow, many actresses think this is “empowering women.” lol
