Forced myself to finish the Producers.. man that film is awful.

Was probably very funny for 1967 (was anything funny back then) but it does not hold up at all today.

Only a few things in the movie that made me kind of smirk a little.

Yeah, most of the film consisted of obnoxious screaming and funny faces. The 1960s had great music and counterculture.. but comedy was still pretty primitive back then. What competition did that film have? The Beverly Hillbillies? Andy Griffith? Lol. The only character I somewhat found amusing was the Nazi guy who always seemed to wear his World War 2 helmet, lol.

The 1970s seemed to be a decade where comedy finally started to mature. George Carlin, Monty Python.. even the Norman Lear sitcoms were a huge improvement over the 1960s television comedy trash.

Lol.. it's a good movie.. although from what I've seen thus far.. it does go against some Christian morals. The movie is about an affair.

Lol alright. Just wanted to make sure you knew what it was about. Although I haven't finished it yet.. it seems to speak of a message for having sympathy for those who stray.

Might watch that Godzilla vs. Kong movie. Even though it looks like a brain dead popcorn flick.

I'm rooting for Kong just in case anybody is wondering. The Godzilla monster looks stupid.. and I've never watched a Godzilla movie in my life.. whereas I've seen a few of the Kong films which is pretty much all of them.. lol.

Kong used to live just down the street. Rarely cleaned up his deposits when he took himself for walks. Lot of high-rises down that way now.

Finished the first season of HBO's Rome.. now for the second which is the last.

I have to say though that Titus Pullo is my favorite character in this series. If he lived today he'd face multiple life sentences in prison.. but in the context of ancient Rome.. he's a funny and quirky guy.

I love this character. Just watched a scene where a man was riding a horse telling people some news about Rome.. and Titus Pullo goes up to him and knocks him off his horse and steals it grand theft auto style and his ex-slave wife also gets on the horse and they gallop off away.. lol.
