The Atheist Experience. Sadly, it got woke or not woke enough... a lot of the hosts left because they dared to let a straight cis male talk about the potential issues of trans-woman playing in female sports... but the classic episodes... bring back a lot of memories. When I lost my faith, I was a psychological mess and watching this show (I literally watched this show for hours and hours and hours) helped me get through a difficult time. They had some intelligent and interesting personalities on the show.

Sadly, it's gone down the tubes... at least as far as I'm concerned. I couldn't stomach it anymore when they went after Men Rights Activists; with one host saying... "yes... men have problems... but we should wait to fix them until we solve women's problems". Not realizing they're often interconnected. Or how it's bad idea to have a totally slanted female centric view about things. Or the idea that some issues might actually be due to biology, and not the "patriarchy".

I can stomach people having different opinion but arguing for others to close their minds about certain problems for "reasons" and other hosts just going with the flow and mindless agreeing; sorry, I was originally into this show for the freethinking and skepticism. Fortunately, I found other podcasts that did.

Let's see what's currently on my watch list here...

Attack on Titan Final Season
In the Land of Leadale
Life with an Ordinary Guy Who Reincarnated into a Total Fantasy Knockout
Miss Kuroitsu from the Monster Development Department
Platinum End
Princess Connect Re: Dive
The Strongest Sage with the Weakest Crest
Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon

Hmm. A bit heavy on the fantasy shows this time. Could use some science fiction.

I probably shouldn't be watching a movie about a woman with borderline personality disorder who is obsessed with a guy... hits way too close to home given my current personal life.

This movie is even more disturbing now than it was when I watched it 10 some years ago. I don't want to denigrate those with BPD and my situation is nowhere near like this film, but it's just hard.

I do find it funny though... a guy stalks a woman and it's a romance movie, a woman stalks a man and it's a horror movie. Lol.

Roots, the original not the awful and cheesy remake.

I know the Boondocks made fun of how some of the slave narratives are portrayed. I think 12 Year A Slave probably has the more realistic portrayal of slavery. Not all movies have about that time period has to be exactly like that, but they do not have to be corny either.

I'm a white man who doesn't like the white guilt I see floating around, but if I were a director, I'd take the subject matter more seriously than I see in many films.
