I need to see that matrix movie.
I hope they’re not ruining it. It could be great.

Lol, they already ruined the franchise with the two sequels. I have low hopes for this one... but it'll still be fun to watch. I like the Matrix and it was a big part of my childhood/teenagehood. Although strangely despite the movie being popular, my friends made fun of me for liking it.

It was just a cool concept, and I enjoy the fetish aesthetic... even if it's kind of laughable at times. The first film at least was a lot of style with some unexpected substance.

I love movies where time has lost it’s meaning. Like if some scenes are mixed, reversed or slowmotion. It is soooo satifying to me. Matrix has quite nice aesthetics.

So far from the reviews I've seen the film has about a 7 out of 10. While I want this film to actually be good, I am somewhat skeptical and cautious... given this political climate and the director being a trans-woman I'm not sure if the reviews might have been lower if she were still a cis man.

Did you know what originally The Wachowskis wanted Will Smith to play Neo? But he turned it down. He's tried to downplay it by saying he wasn't ready for a movie like that... but I don't buy that at all. Not like Neo required the highest acting chops... lol.

Case in point...

Yeah, Will Smith was pretty huge during the 90s. I used to like him, but from hearing about his personal life and some of his antics I've grown to dislike him more and more. To the point where if he's in a movie I'm turned off by it. Haven't seen this recent stuff. Funny, because Keanu used to be somewhat despised for his wooden acting, but not he's a beloved treasure.

I think the only live action Disney film I watched was Beauty and The Beast and I turned that off halfway through. Don't care to watch another.

I actually I did watch the Netflix movie Bright with Will Smith in it. Oh that movie was funny... terrible but such a weird premise that it kept me watching all the way through. Something about ghetto mythical characters just cracks me up. Especially the scene where an Ogre stares down a cop and inmates shooting him with his pointer finger while gangster rap plays in the background, lol.

Elf. I haven't been watching any Christmas movies this season... and I should at least get a few watched before the Holiday is over with. Haven't seen this movie probably since I was a teenager, but I remember liking it a lot.

Sorry... but after rewatching Elf.. it wasn't as good as I remembered.

This movie is officially no longer a Christmas classic.

What about Grinch? Do you like that one.

The live action one with Jim Carrey? Despite being an early 2000s kid... I missed that one somehow. I do like Jim Carrey though, and it might be worth a watch. I did love/still love the cartoon.
