At home, I've been reading Rising Star: The Making of Barack Obama by David Garrow. It's (surprisingly) readable, although quite long, so I may not complete it. At work during lunch, I've been reading some of War Before Civilization: The Myth of the Peaceful Savage by Lawrence Keely. It counters well the noble savage idea -- that civilization corrupts otherwise peaceful humanity.
