@Sumune37 - Tank is such a jam. I rarely touch anime these days, but Cowboy Bebop is one of the finest. Kingdom Hearts has always had an incredible soundtrack, too.

I recently purchased Lifehouse's Greatest Hits and am *so excited* to listen to it. These guys were my childhood.

Heard Nat King Cole’s version of Charlie Chaplin’s theme song on HD radio. And I found this cool video with some of his film clips with Paulette Goddard. 2 of the very best in one video:

Personally...Sturgil Simpson, Widespread Panic, Bling Melon, Grateful Dead (yes, still..), Railroad Earth, and occasionally some Circles Around The Sun
Wow thats a great list. I watched a doco on the Grateful Dead a couple of weeks ago. It was a great insight into Jerry Garcia and the counter culture at the time. I knew of the Grateful Dead but only started checking them out more a couple of years back.

At the moment I am listening to Patrick Michael Kelly's (Paddy Kelly) new album B.O.A.T.S. I have followed Paddy and his family, The Kelly Family for years now. But they have split and Paddy has always been a great singer/songwriter and inspiration to many with his music.

He has developed as an artist and what I like is that he is relatable. His songs speak about real life situations, lifes struggles and about hope for better things. He is a Christian but I think more associated with the Catholic Church. He became a Brother and had a sebatical for a few years but still putting out songs.

What I like is that you can discover his whole life journey from when he was young singing with the Kelly Family, his sebatical influence on his music and his progression into contempory music.

For anyone interested here is a clip of Paddy and the Kelly Family live at
Lorelei/ There were 5 brothers and 4 sisters and they sound great together harmonizing. I think there was around 250 thousand at this concert. The video quality is not the best but the music and voices are great.

The best torch song ever written. And Julie's version from 1955 is the best recording. Great minimalist arrangement with only bass and guitar. The echo effect in the fade-out is also very cool.
