I rarely listen to stuff with lyrics these days and the majority of my playlist I tend to use is music from video game soundtracks, adding some stuff from anime soundtracks recently.

Like this second, it's Dragon Quest Monsters, which I sadly have never played, though it's in that vein of monster raising games I enjoy

My wife and I saw "Summer" 2 nights ago. It's the musical about Donna Summer, the Queen of Disco in the late 70s and 80s. Who died of lung cancer at 63. I wasn't much of a fan back in the day. But after the show, I've been listening to some of her recordings. She really was quite a good singer. She had a fine, clear voice , which she could modulate from a sultry whisper to loud and brassy. Sure, Disco is to music as cotton candy is to nutrition. But Donna was the top of the heap.

Heard this on my classical station. Jean Sibelius's homage to his homeland. An inspiring and uplifting piece of music. The scenes of Finland in the video are also very cool.
