I would like to know what you think we(Christians) are saved from....

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

As the other dear people have already said, we are saved from the error of our ways. We are saved from the deceitfulness of riches, the lust of the flesh, and the arrogance of pride.

The primary concern of Christians should be a relationship with our Father through His Son! Salvation would be this relationship! Unsaved, therefore would be darkness without the light of God.

Jesus save us from Sin lead us to spiritual death and Jesus gave us hope that will lead us to spiritual life.

If we do not know what people are saved from, and are obviously very confused about it, how can we convince anyone that they need salvation or that we know the way to salvation?

Yeah i think we are saved from this world, and the god of this age, while also being saved from the coming wrath and enturnal damnation, i think that we are save in a 2 fold way;
1st) Earthly sense as in from Sin and been in bondage to sin and have the wrath of God on us now.
2nd) Enturnal as in going to hell and have his wrath on us there.
