Not sure whether you read the N.T. in the context it is written in. For example, Jesus was sent only to the Jews implies that much of what Jesus said. Was directed at the Jews rather than the Gentiles.Jesus taught us the Gospel of the Kingdom. There were commands mixed in yes, but the whole thing revolved around choice.

I see clearly in the N.T the separation between what was required of the Jew, and what was required of the Gentile. Which the N.T. (Acts 15) so clearly demonstrates, the Gentiles were never seen as being under the law.
The kingdom is within!Context is all about the Gospel of the Kingdom.
Luke 4:43 And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.
Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 And this GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come
Mark 1:14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
Matthew 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom...
etc:
What are the commandments now that we are supposed to keep (under the NC)...
And can anyone keep these on their own or in their own strength...?
God Bless!
We were created through Jesus and for Jesus.Yes and Jesus taught we had a choice to chose it, thus the will of God. Or stick with the will of man as our default allegiance.
I've read enough of your longwinded posts already, which are full of scripture twisting and represent SDA doctrine and culminate in salvation by "grace plus law, faith plus works" which is not truth. Here is a statement below from a previous post made by you which proves my point.
The counterfeit Gospel is out there. What is the other Gospel? It is a Gospel that tries to separate God's Law (10 commandments) from the Cross. It is a Gospel that tries to separate God's 10 commandments from the plan of salvation. God’s Law has always been part of the true Gospel of Christ. The counterfeit Gospel does not have it. God's forever Law (the 10 commandments) is the foundation of both the Old and the New Covenant and the very foundation and basis of the true Gospel of Christ. You also previously had a link at the bottom of your posts to a website (TheBeastsMarkiscoming) that supports the ludicrous doctrine that those who worship on Sunday instead of Saturday will receive the mark of the beast, which is refuted here - Bible Truth Versus Adventist Truth - Mark of the Beast
Actually, none of these verses above teach that the Church is commanded to keep the Sabbath in the New Testament or is condemned for failing to do so. More Scripture twisting on your part.
In regards to Mark 2:27, "the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath, so the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath," this statement was in response to the accusation by the Pharisees that His disciples were breaking the law regarding resting on the Sabbath while going through some fields and plucking heads of grain (Matthew 12:1-8; Mark 2:23-28; Luke 6:1-5).
Jesus responded by giving an example from the Old Testament that David was once in need of food and was given consecrated bread that was only lawful for the priests to eat (1 Samuel 21:1-6). The bread had served a practical need for David and his followers, just as with Jesus and His disciples, the grain served a practical need. David and his men were not acting sinfully in eating the showbread, and neither were Jesus’ disciples acting sinfully in plucking heads of grain on the Sabbath. Jesus concludes, "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath." (Mark 2:27-28)
Jesus' response to the accusing Pharisees contains two important teachings. First, the Sabbath was intended to help people, not burden them.
The Pharisees had turned the Sabbath into a burden, adding restrictions beyond what God’s law said. The disciples had not broken God’s law; they had only violated the Pharisees’ legalistic, interpretation of the law. Jesus reminded the Pharisees of the original intent of the Sabbath rest.
Jesus statement does not teach that the Sabbath was made for all mankind, as you suppose. Jesus said, "the Sabbath was made for man," not all mankind. When Scripture is meant to be inclusive of all mankind it is clear. See Matthew 28:19; John 3:16; Acts 2:17; I Timothy 2:4; Titus 2:11. These verses clearly indicate that when God offers something to all mankind He clearly offers it to all.
The ORIGINAL pupose and reason the SABBATH was made as JESUS said was for ALL MANKIND. As shown earlier in MARK 2:27 and GENESIS 2:1-3 which shows that God made the SABBATH on the SEVENTH DAY of the creation week after he made MANKIND (Adam and Eve). JESUS says that the SABBATH that was made in CREATION for MAN *MARK 2:27. The GREEK Word used here for man agreeing with GENESIS 2:1-3 meaning Human beings; mankind; or CLAY beings. The Sabbath was not given to all the nations. It was given to the nation of Israel. Look at Deuteronomy 5:1-15 which gives the commandments to Israel. 2 The Lord our God made a covenant with us in Horeb. 3 The Lord did not make this covenant with our fathers, but with us, those who are here today, all of us who are alive.
Nowhere in Scripture is there any hint that Sabbath keeping was practiced from Adam to Moses.
The Word of God makes it clear that Sabbath observance was a sign between God and Israel: "The Israelites are to observe the Sabbath, celebrating it for the generations to come as a lasting covenant. It will be a sign between me and the Israelites FOREVER, for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day he abstained from work and rested." (Exodus 31:16-17).
This has already been shown to be a false argument. As the SABBATH was made for ALL MANKIND *MARK 2:17 BEFORE SIN and BEFORE ISRAEL existed at creation *GENESIS 2:1-3. Before the written WORD there was the SPOKEN WORD of GOD.In Deuteronomy 5, Moses restates the Ten Commandments to the next generation of Israelites. Here, after commanding Sabbath observance in verses 12–14, Moses gives the reason the Sabbath was given to the nation Israel: "Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and that the Lord your God brought you out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the Lord your God has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day." (Deuteronomy 5:15).
Hebrews 4:9 - So there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God. (NASB) I already explained to you that this Sabbath rest (Sabbatismos) is to be enjoyed uninterruptedly by believers in their fellowship with the Father and the Son, in contrast to the weekly Sabbath under the Law. Although it's full fruition is still yet future, believers now enter into it. *Notice that the Greek word "sabbatismos" is used no where else in the Bible! Amazing that you would suggest that this is the word for "keeping the weekly Sabbath" when it is never used anywhere else. You need to get past the shadow and get to reality (Colossians 2:16-17) which is found in Christ.
Same old repeated lines, which I find ironic. Now if you don't mind, I would like to hear what Neogaia777 has to say on the subject, without any further distractions from your scripture twisted-longwinded posts that you continue to copy and paste.
So is it a case of choosing so much as accepting the inevitable rule of the Lord of heaven and earth.
More of the same Scripture twisting, deception, rhetoric and strawman arguments. By the way, are you a lawyer by profession? I know who I BELEVE and FOLLOW and it’s not Ellen G White or the gospel according to Ellen G White. What I find ironic is that everything you post on the Sabbath is a cut and paste repeating the same things you always do word for word without addressing any of the posts and scriptures that disagree with you. I cut and past scripture. My posts are from my own personal prayerful time in God's WORD and not from word of website.
Only God's WORD is true and we should believe and FOLLOW it over the teachings and traditions of men that break the commandments of God. JESUS says those who follow the teachings and traditions of men are not following God *MATTHEW 15:3-9. Who should we BELIEVE and FOLLOW, GOD or man? I know who I believe how about you?
God's Sheep hear his Voice (the Word).

Hello LGW.Now brother Dan these are your words and not God's Word and do not respond to God's WORD shared with you in love to correct your errors in your last post.
You use your words to try justify breaking God's 4th commandment which is one of God's ETERNAL LAWS (10 commandments) that give us the KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and EVIL; SIN AND RIGHTOUESNESS *ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7; 1 JOHN 3:4; PSALMS 119:172. Your words are not God's WORD brother so your argument is with God not me. God's 4th commandment is one of God's 10 commandments that gives us the KNOWLEDGE of what SIN is when broken *ROMANS 3:20. God's WORD says if we KNOWINGLY break ANY ONE of God's commandments we stand guilty before God of SIN *JAMES 2:10-11. All who continue in KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN will not enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN *HEBREWS 10:26-27 because they reject the gift of God's dear son *ROMANS 6:23.
God's people are in every church *JOHN 10:16 and He knows that many break this commandment out of IGNORANCE because what they have been taught in the Churches they may be in. JESUS says that the hour is coming and NOW is that he will call his people out from following the teachings and tradtions of men to worship God in Spirit and in truth according to his WORD *JOHN 4:23-24
Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has led many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9) There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.
Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God? In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).
