I don't understand your question. What I was presenting was that if the Reformed idea of predestination wasn't an issue before the fall, how could it have taken place prior to the foundation of the world?Yes. Sorry.
Believers. Read John 1.
John 10 talks about His sheep.
Couldn't God have foreseen the Fall? He must have, really. Therefore, he could have predestined whomever he chose from before Adam.
Predestination is not about how God treats anybody. Some are destined to salvation; others are not. The ones who are not aren't sent somewhere in the afterlife that they don't otherwise deserve. It is on that point where most critics of predestination stumble.
Thanks for that...whatever that was.LOL, out come all of the same old arguments from both sides of Calvinism v. the Rest.... In my opinion the God portrayed in Calvinism is a very small God and is not a very loving God at all.
Thanks for that...whatever that was.
I never said it was a help.No worries I am glad I could help.

That is what a lot of people say when trying to think through the idea of predestination. However, that is not predestination. It would be simple foreknowledge which just about everyone agrees is part of God's nature. Predestination, whether you or I accept it as true or not, means that He determined it in advance, not just that he knew in advance that it would happen. What you described would be free will, the opposite of predestination.Hi I am a little confused but I am sincerely in trying to understand. So let me try to explain what I thought it means I am by no means saying I am right. I thought that presdentination is because God is all knowing and he already knew before we were born if we would receive him or reject him, that is not that God is choosing to save some and not others it is because he foreknew. Is this correct?
Not rude, just right.Rude and childish good one ☝️
