I have to admit - I can cope with everything except COCKROACHES, and HUGE FLYING GRASSHOPPERS!!
They get me running everytime... I was working around our aviaries a couple of days ago, and my parents laughed at me... as largish spider went up my arm and I brushed it off...a cockroach ran across my foot, and I screeched!!!

I don't know why, but I have this completely unreasonable fear of being mauled by lions or tigers or eaten by alligators. Completely unreasonable as there aren't really too many in Indiana...
You'd better watch out, make sure all your doors and windows are locked tight... when I was last in Indiana I saw lions, tigers, AND alligators watching from treetops, from behind bushes, from many places, just watching, looking for prey, looking for something to maul for lunch or dinner, those animals are everywhere in Indiana! I'd move to Ohio if I was you! I guarantee if you look out your window now you might see one but the very second it sees you looking it's going to hide and you'll think you're just hallucinating but they're there all right... and they're hungry. Very hungry. And oh how delicious you look to a lion, a tiger, and an alligator. Be careful. Good luck.

That's so mean, making fun of my fears like that! :p And I didn't even mention the recurrent nightmares about the lions and tigers! LOL I think the alligators come from watching "Romancing the Stone" with Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas when I was young -- don't know where the lions and tigers (and bears -- oh my! -- no, wait-- that's not it! LOL) come from. The strange thing is...I like cats, and I can look at lions and tigers at the zoo with no problem....

....other than the time I was there and "meowed" at several of them. The first two ignored me. The last one growled at me. Don't know if I was afraid of them before that or not -- but definitely afterward! ;)
