What about C.S. Lewis?

I have read C. S. Lewis, but it's been a long time. Perhaps I should dig out my collection and read them again. They are enjoyable books.

I really like all the books I've read by Lewis, especially the space trilogy. His essays are also a good read, and quite thought-provoking, though not as good as G K Chesterton, imho. I've read the Narnia series twice, and they're great fun, a good message, and generally charming. *gush, gush*

O.k. I read the debates between LOTR and HP. But what about C.S. Lewis and his Narnia books or his Space Trilogy? I like Narnia more than HP as children's books and his Space Trilogy goes head to head with Stargate, I think. Plus his Screwtape letters makes you think as well. Which Lewis book do you like and how does it compare with others?

CS Lewis is awesome, and you can almost see the gospel being the underlying thing throughout the chronicles of Narnia.

"The Great Divorce" is my favorite book by CS Lewis. There's just so much to it, and yet it's not a very big book.

I've also read all the Narnia Chronicals, and they totally rule...especially the Last Battle--it put a lot of things into perspective for me. I have yet to read Screwtape Letters...still want to, I've heard it's really good. I've also read Lilith, which I can't remember whether it was by Lewis or not. Probably not, lol! I wouldn't say he's one of my top 3 authors tho--too many top authors! More like, one of the top 20.
